Abstract
PURPOSE: To improve permeability of electrolyte to a separator, to eliminate the necessity of the step of ageing a capacitor, and obtain a device having a low internal resistance and less liquid leakage by oxidizing and cleaning with ozone generated by irradiating the separator with an ultraviolet ray.
CONSTITUTION: A separator 3 made of polypropylene sheet pretreated by exposing it with ozone generated by irradiating the sheet with an ultraviolet ray, and a polarizing electrode 1 formed by using a plasma flame spraying method for an aluminum layer assembly 2 on one side face of a phenol active charcoal fiber cloth having 2000m2/g of specific surface area are provided.
