Abstract
PURPOSE:To increase the forming rate without heat treatment and to reduce the stage by putting a metal stock in a magnetic field combining an alternate field and a direct field and working the metal stock with stresses of the stock removed by both the fields. CONSTITUTION:In the case that a wire 6 is supplied to be inserted into a core 7 downward and is drawn by a die 8, an alternate electric current coil 2 is wound on the core 7 to form an alternate magnetic field in the axial direction of the wire 6. A direct magnetic field is formed by direct electric current coils installed in the orthogonal direction to the axis of the wire 6; the die 8 is positioned at a point at which the alternate and direct fields cross to each other and the wire 6 is drawn. Therefore, the wire 6 is magnetized so that fine magnetic domains are respectively magnetized, N magnetic poles and S magnetic poles generated at both end of the each magnetized domains alternately change their polarity to each other; amplitudes caused by vibrations of magnetic walls are increased to generate resonance and to relieve stresses to increase the forming rate without heat treatment, and to obtain the reduced stage and the improved productivity.
