Abstract

PURPOSE:To effectively and concentratively stimulate a part of an organism requiring stimulation, by providing two magnetic poles each having a polarity opposite from the other at both ends of the stimulation part along and facing the surface of the organism. CONSTITUTION:Solenoid coils 12 are wound on both ends 11a and 11b of an arch-shaped steel core 11 to form magnetic poles each having a polarity opposite from the other, and are connected to each other in series or in parallel. When a current of, e.g., several thousand A is instantaneously supplied to a magnetic stimulation coil 10, a magnetic flux is generated from the magnetic pole at the end 11a through an organism 2 to the opposite magnetic pole at the other end 11b. An eddy current is thus concentratively generated at a stimulation region B in the organism 2. In the above manner, stimulation to a part of an organism is effectively and concentratively performed.
