シリンダブロツクと同シリンダブロツクのエンジ
ンシリンダ内で摺動するピストンとにより形成さ
れたエンジン燃焼室の冷却を、上記のシリンダヘ
ツド側とシリンダブロツク側とで分離して行なう
べく、上記シリンダヘツド側を潤滑する上部油循
環系と、上記シリンダブロツク側を潤滑する下部
油循環系とが分離して設けられ、同下部油循環系
に、上記エンジンシリンダの周囲に形成され同エ
ンジンシリンダの一側から冷却用油を流入される
とともに同エンジンシリンダの他側から上記冷却
用油を流出させるオイルジヤケツトをそなえ、同
オイルジヤケツト内の油流出側オイルジヤケツト
部分の端部に溜まる気泡を排出させるべく、同油
流出側オイルジヤケツト部分の端部における上部
部分と上記シリンダブロツクの下部に接続された
オイルパンに連通する部分との間に気泡排出通路
が介装されていることを特徴とする、エンジン冷
