せうるウオータポンプと、該冷却水を冷却するラ
ジエータとをそなえたエンジン用冷却装置におい
て、該ウオータジヤケツトが、各シリンダライナ
の外側上部にそれぞれ設けられた連通孔を介して
、該連通孔よりも上方に位置して該ウオータポン
プで内部の冷却水を駆動されて強制対流する強制
対流部と、該連通孔よりも下方に位置して内部の
冷却水を該ウオータポンプで駆動されずに自然対
流する自然対流部とに分離され、該連通孔を通じ
た各シリンダライナ周りの該強制対流部と該自然
対流部との間の冷却水流通面積が、強制対流する
冷却水流の下流側にいくにしたがつて大きくなる
ように設定されていることを特徴とする、エンジ
