シリンダブロツクと同シリンダブロツクのエンジ
ンシリンダ内で摺動するピストンとにより形成さ
れたエンジンの燃焼室の冷却を、上記のシリンダ
ヘツド側とシリンダブロツク側とに分離して行な
うべく、上記シリンダヘツド側を潤滑する上部油
循環系と、上記シリンダブロツク側を潤滑する下
部油循環系とが分離して設けられ、同下部油循環
系に、上記エンジンシリンダの周囲に形成され冷
却用油を保持するオイルジヤケツトをそなえ、同
オイルジヤケツト内に溜まる気泡を1箇所に集め
て排出させるべく、上記オイルジヤケツトがエン
ジン長手方向に沿い傾斜した頂面をそなえて形成
されるとともに、上記の傾斜した頂面に沿い案内
されてきた気泡を上記シリンダブロツクの下部に
接続されたオイルパン側へ排出する気泡排出通路
が、上記オイルジヤケツトの上部部分と上記オイ
ルパンに連通する部分との間に介装されているこ
