Claims (1)

  1. 【実用新案登録請求の範囲】 発光部と受光部を備えていて、テープ収容部に
    収容した磁気テープの始端又は終端に設けた透光
    窓が前記発光部と受光部の間に位置すると発光部
    からの光が受光部に到達して、テープ端部の検出
    を行なうようになつている磁気記録再生装置のテ
    ープ端部検出機構において、 前記発光部は、装置筐体に固設された基板に取
    付けられている発光素子と、該発光素子の光出射
    方向に位置させた状態で導光体支持板に取付けら
    れていて、先端部に設けた光屈折面で、前記発光
    素子からの光を所定の方向に屈折させる発光側導
    光体とで構成され、 前記受光部は、磁気テープを挾んで前記発光側
    導光体と対向させた状態で導光体支持板に取付け
    られていて、先端部に光屈折面を有している受光
    側導光体と、前記装置筐体に固設された基板に取
    付けられていて、前記受光側導光体からの光を受
    光する受光素子とで構成されていることを特徴と
    する磁気記録再生装置のテープ端部検出機構。
