Claims (1)
- 【実用新案登録請求の範囲】 (1) 定着ローラの母線方向の概ね全長に渡りそ
の周面を摺擦する長尺シート状のクリーニング用
のウエブの両端を軸に巻付け、上記一方の軸であ
る巻出し軸から他方の軸である巻取り軸に該ウエ
ブを巻取るようにしたクリーニング機構を備えて
いる定着装置において、上記巻出し軸から巻出し
される長尺のウエブの終端近傍に、該ウエブの幅
方向の一部を切欠いた切欠き部を設けると共に、
上記ウエブ切欠き部が巻出し軸から巻出しされる
位置に臨むように配置されていて、通常は上記巻
出し軸から巻出しされたウエブに係合することで
非検知位置に偏倚され、かつ上記ウエブ切欠き部
の巻出し時にはウエブとの上記係合が解除される
ことで検知位置に揺動する揺動アームを設け、更
に該揺動アームの検知位置への揺動を検知する検
知手段を設けたことを特徴とする定着装置。 (2) 上記ウエブの切欠き部が、該ウエブの幅寸
法を漸減させたテーパー状の切欠きとして形成さ
れたものであることを特徴とする実用新案登録請
求の範囲第(1)項記載の定着装置。 (3) 上記非検知時にウエブに係合する揺動アー
ムが、巻出し軸回転抵抗を付与する押さえ部材を
兼ねていることを特徴とする実用新案登録請求の
範囲第(1)項又は第(2)項のいずれかに記載の定着
装置。
