Generally, when growing rice seedlings in humid cultivation soil, the decomposition of organic matter is incomplete and a large amount of organic acids are produced, resulting in the inconvenience of acidifying the soil and inhibiting the growth of seedlings. It is something that was given.

On the other hand, conventional cultivating soil for seedling boxes is made by mixing composted manure with iron slag to supplement its base replacement capacity, or by using fermented rice husks and mountain soil as main materials to reduce the acidity of the cultivating soil. However, the former often caused damping-off and root rot diseases due to infectious pathogens living in the composted manure. In addition, those using fermented rice husks had the problem that not only the harmful bacteria but also the beneficial bacteria in the mountain soil were killed as the fermented rice husk ripened.

In view of these circumstances, the present invention aims to develop steelmaking slag.
By mixing 10 to 20 parts of fermented rice husks made by inoculating beneficial bacteria such as lactic acid bacteria that have been cultured in advance into 100 parts, and adding smoky charcoal or other nitrogen fertilizers as appropriate, during seedling raising. Of course, the aim is to provide a new cultivating soil that allows rice and other crops to grow effectively under the control of beneficial bacteria even after transplanting.

Hereinafter, the structure will be explained in more detail based on one example. First, a blast furnace pulverized to an appropriate particle size,
Or fermented rice husks made by inoculating 100 parts of converter slag with beneficial bacteria such as lactic acid bacteria and Bacillus subtilis obtained by separate pure crush culture of rice husks crushed to 1 to 2 mm or less.
~20 parts, for example, 3 to 5 parts of rice husk smoky charcoal (both by weight), and if necessary, a suitable amount of fertilizer such as nitrogen or potassium is added to these.

In addition, depending on the seedling type, dilute sulfuric acid or pulp residue can be added to the slag of the above-mentioned culture soil of the present invention in advance so that the apparent pH is on the weak acid side (about PH5, 5). .

When the culturing soil of the present invention having the above-mentioned structure is used in a seedling nursery box, it does not contain any mountain soil, so there is no risk of plant disease caused by pathogenic bacteria. As a result, lodging resistance, fertilizer resistance, and disease resistance are obtained for rice, etc., and the fermentation of lactic acid bacteria planted in the crushed rice husks and the activity of smoky charcoal work together to properly remove organic matter in the soil. It decomposes quickly, and together with the alkaline nature of the slag mentioned above, it significantly increases the ability of seedlings to absorb nutrients while preventing the acidification of the soil, which cannot be expected with conventional cultivation soils of this type. It is important to cultivate healthy seedlings.

Also, if you transplant the seedlings into Honda after raising them,
Beneficial bacteria in the soil attached to the roots of the seedlings can, under their dominance, eliminate harmful bacteria living in the soil of Honda and reliably prevent root rot and damping off.

Furthermore, in addition to the above-mentioned examples, the culturing soil of the present invention can be used as floor soil for greenhouses, etc., and is especially excellent in decomposing organic matter in paddy fields, so it can be used, for example, as a soil conditioner for rice cultivation. If mixed at a rate of 15 tons per crop, a large increase in yield can be obtained without causing fall drop.

As described above, the culturing soil of the present invention is of course extremely effective for the growth of rice, etc.
Since there is no need to use natural soil, the labor involved in conventional soil excavation work and the occurrence of plant diseases are eliminated, and the main materials, such as slag, rice husks, and pulp residue, can be obtained in abundance as waste, making it suitable for cultivation soil. Not only can it be provided industrially at a low cost, but it is also expected to have great public benefit as a means of recycling waste materials.
