Abstract

PURPOSE:To obtain the titled treating agent capable of effectively preventing inflammation on scalp, fallen hair and damage of hair and of providing hair with good touch, containing a methylsiloxane polymer having a polymerization degree in a specific range. CONSTITUTION:The titled treating agent containing 0.1-20wt.% preferably 0.3-15wt.% methylsiloxane polymer having >=1,000, preferably 3,000-10,000 polymerization degree. Further addition of a methylsiloxane and/or cyclic methylsiloxane having low polymerization degree shows more secure improved effects and blending of 0.1-20wt.%, especially 0.5-5wt.% cationic cellulose and/or polyvinyl pyrrolidone are further more effective. Addition of odd- numbered carbon chain fatty acid derivative and/or odd-numbered carbon chain alcohol derivative is effective for suppressing inflammation of scalp. The treating agent is prepared as permanent wave agent, hair coloring agent or bleaching agent and used.
