Description

【発明の詳細な説明】 〔座業上の利用分野〕 本発明は、半導体素子ワイヤーボンダーにおいて、あら
かじめ、数個のキャピラリーにボンディングワイヤーを
通しておく事によシ、稼動時間中のキャピラリー９：挾
時間を短縮し、設備の停止時間全減少させるものである
。
〔従来の技術〕
従来、この柚の半導体素子ワイヤーボンダは、第２図に
示す様にボンディングワイヤーには１つだけキャピラリ
ーを通している。この方法では、キャピラリーを変換す
る際、そのつどボンディングワイヤーを通さなければな
らない。
〔発明が解決しようとする問題点〕
上述した従来の半導体素子ワイヤーボンダーでは、キャ
ピラリーを交換するたびにボンディング、ワイヤーをキ
ャピラリーに通さなければならず、設備の停止時間が長
くなるという欠点がある。
〔問題点ｆ：解決するための手段〕
本発明のキャピラリー交換方法は、交換用のキャピラリ
ーをボンディング作業中のキャピラリーと同じボンディ
ングワイヤーに通しである。
〔実施例〕
次に、本発明について、図面を参照して、説明する。第
１図は、本発明の概略図である。ボンディングワイヤー
１に使用するキャピラリー２と、交換用のキャピラリー
３を通しである。
第２図は、本発明を使っての一実施例の概略図である。
図の様にキャピラリー保持部６に取り付ける。このよう
にすればキャビ２リーの交換が必要になった時、ローラ
ー５を回転させ、使用できなくなったキャピラリーを取
りはずすだけでキャピラリーの交換ができる。
〔発明の効果〕
以上、説明した球に本発明は、あらかじめ、ボンディン
グワイヤーに数個のキャピラリーを通す事により、キャ
ピラリーの交換がすみやかに行え、設備の停止時間の極
少化を計る事ができる。
