Abstract

PURPOSE:To lower cost and to improve quality, by performing the injection molding of an erasing head main body and a part of a tape sliding plane by using a resin magnet, and performing the injection molding of the remaining part of the tape sliding plane by using resin. した後、テープとの密着性・摺動性を良くするため、R
形状に研磨仕上げをして、テープ摺動面19を形成して

一体成形すると共に、テープ摺動面の残部6(非磁性部
を必要とする部分)に樹脂が充填された構造で一体成形
されている。

れた樹脂マグネット16より成る永久磁石型消去ヘッド
の、テープ摺動面の残部(非磁性部を必要とする部分)
に樹脂を注入する工程を示したものであり、第2図aは
成形金型下型の平面図を第2図すは成形金型の第2図a
におけるム′−B′断面で示したものである。第1図で
樹脂マグネット16を成形した成形金型上型6に製品を
固定したまま成形金型上型6を用いて、成形金型下型1
2を準備し同図のように構成する。同可動部8はテープ
摺動面まで逃がすと共に、第1図で示した樹脂注入用の
可動ピン11を逃がした位置に、樹脂注入口13を設け
、ポリアミド、ポリアセタール、ポリプロピレン、ポリ
エチレンなどの熱可塑性樹脂16を空洞部14に注入す
る。これで第3図、第4図に示した永久磁石型消去ヘッ
ドが得られることになる。

発明の効果 以上のように本発明では一般に樹脂材料どうしの二色成
形を、樹脂マグネットと樹脂を用いて永久磁石型消去ヘ
ッドを成形したものであり、そのテープ摺動面をみると
、着磁処理をして消去ヘッドとして必要な部分には樹脂
マグネットが充填され、着磁処理されると問題が発生す
るため非磁性部が望まれる部分には樹脂が充填されたも
のを安易に得ることが可能である。従来例のように永久
磁石を複雑な工程を経て加工した後に組立て、研磨加工
することも不要になり、成形品状態でテープ摺動面が完
成されることで研磨作業は不要になる。このように、製
造工程の大幅な削減によるコストダウンが可能なばかり
でなく、永久磁石部を成形金製で成形するため、寸法も
安定し、品質の安定を図ることが可能になり、品質、コ
スト面を含めて直接原価の約46q6削減が可能など貢
献度の大なるものである。
