られる永久磁石型消去ヘツドの製造方法に関する
ものである。

1に第6図で示すように別工程で加工されたコア
部品2を定位置に接着・固化させることによつて
組立てを行つていた。コア部品2は第6図で示す
ように別工程で複雑な工程を経て加工され、同図
面aで永久磁石3と非磁性材4とを貼合せた後ダ
イヤモンドカツターを用いてマス目状に切断し、
同図bで示す所定寸法のコアを作り、同図cで示
すようにテープ摺動面を形成する目的で一端をR
状に研磨加工して完成という複雑な加工を施して
いた。さらにコア部品2の永久磁石部3のテープ
摺動面には第5図aで示すようにテープ走行方向
にN→S→N…と交番し、かつその磁界強度は同
図面bのように漸減していく漸減交番型の着磁を
行い、テープに記録・着磁されたデータを磁界強
度がゼロになる点まで誘導し消去を行うという原
理である。

質保証を含め、コスト面で無理・無駄が多い仕様
であつた。

つテープ摺動面の底面を凸状に前もつて成形し、
この永久磁石を金型内の定位置に挟持し、樹脂材
料を成形金型内に注入し消去ヘツドレバー本体を
成形すると同時に前記永久磁石をインサート成形
するものである。

実施例 以下、本発明の一実施例について第1図、第2

ート成形方式による永久磁石型消去ヘツドの製造
方法を示し、第2図は完成した製品を、第3図は
樹脂マグネツトを示す。第1図aは平面図、bは
正面図を示し、永久磁石5を成形金型下型6にセ
ツトした状態を示す。この状態で永久磁石5はそ
の形状に合致するように設けられた成形金型下型
6で定位置に固定され、さらに成形金型上型7に
設けた可動式保持棒8を永久磁石5に押し当てる
ことにより挟持する。永久磁石5を成形金型内に
挟持できた時点で、消去ヘツドレバー本体9を形
成する空洞部10に注入口11より樹脂材料を注
入しインサート成形を行う。成形完了後、可動式
保持棒8を製品から引抜き製品を取出す。取出し
た製品は第2図に示すごとく、永久磁石5をイン
サート成形した製品となり、テープ摺動面である
天面はR状となる。第3図は前記インサート成形
に用いる永久磁石5を示し、一端面をR加工面1
2とし、その底部側面に凸部13をもつように前
もつて成形し、R加工面12はテープ摺動面とし
て用い、凸部13はインサート成形後の永久磁石
5の抜け止めとして用いる。

発明の効果 本発明では永久磁石を前もつてR状に成形した
ものを消去ヘツドレバー本体にインサート成形す
るため、従来例のように永久磁石を複雑な工程を
経て加工した後に消去ヘツドレバー本体に接着す
る組立工程も不要になるばかりでなく、永久磁石
の寸法ばらきも樹脂マグネツトを用いた成形方式
のため精度向上が図れ、その位置関係もインサー
ト方式のため定位置で成形されるので、従来例の
ように、貼付位置・角度等の検査も不要になる特
徴を有しており、品質面での改善とコスト面で直
接原価の約40%削減が可能など貢献度の大なもの
である。

成形した後、前記保持棒を抜き去り、消去ヘツド
レバー部本体に永久磁石をインサート成形する永
