ポンプケース内を超低温状態に保つシールドパネ

のガスを凍結、吸着させることにより、真空チヤ
ンバ側からポンプケース側へ吸気を行なうクライ
オポンプにおいて、 前記エキスパンシヨンヘツドの外周部には、金
属パイプが巻装されているとともに、該パイプ内
に加熱もしくは冷却媒体が供給されることを特徴
とするクライオポンプ。 (2) 前記パイプの一方側に接続したコンプレツ
サにより、加熱媒体を上記パイプ内に送り込み、
エキスパンシヨンヘツド並びにヘツドに接合され
たパネル類を加熱し、パネル表面に凍結、吸着し
たガスを放出することにより、ポンプケース内の
