Description

【発明の詳細な説明】 ３、発明の詳細な説明 〔産業上の利用分野〕 本発明はゴルフクラブに関し、特に、グリーン上でのパ
ッティングに適したパターの改良に関す〔従来の技術〕 実公昭５９−１２９１６号公報にはパターが開示されて
いる。このパターのヘッドは棒状体の一端部を打球面と
し、その打球面にボディの長手方向と直角方向に延びる
薄肉のフェイス板を設けた構造となっており、シャフト
は棒状体の上部に固着されている。
〔発明が解決しようとする問題点〕
上述した従来のパターにおいては、パターヘッドの重量
が打球面の中心線上に集中しているため、スィートスポ
ットが狭い。このため、特にロングパットの際にボール
がパターヘッドのスィートスポットから外れ易く、スィ
ートスポットから外れたポールは極端に転がり距離が落
ちるとともに、転がり方向のずれが大きくなるという欠
点があった。また、パターのスイング中にヘッドがシャ
フト接続部を中心として回転し易（、このため、ヘッド
の打球面を正確に目標方向に保ったままスイングするこ
とが困難となっていた。更に、棒状体が１つであるため
、アドレスにおいてヘッドの打球面を目標に対し正値に
合わせることが困難となっていた。
〔問題点を解決するための手段〕
上記問題点を解決するための手段として、本発明は、薄
肉のフェイス板の背面におけるトウ側及びヒール側にフ
ェイス板の打球面に対して直角に延びる２つの棒状体の
端部をそれぞれ固着し、両棒状体間にシャフト取付部を
配設したことを特徴とするゴルフクラブを提供する。
〔作　用〕
本発明による上記手段によれば、フェイス板のトウ側及
びヒール側に棒状体が固着されているので、ヘッドの重
量がトウ側及びヒール側に配分され、スィートスポット
が拡がる。したがって、ボールがスィートスポットの中
心から外れてもボールの転がり距離が大きく低下せず、
ボールの転がり方向のずれも小さくなる。また、ヘッド
の重心周りの慣性モーメントが大きくなるので、クラブ
のスイング中にヘッドがシャフト取付部のシャフト連結
箇所の周りに回転しにくくなり、フェイス板の打球面を
正しく目標方向に保たせることができるようになる。更
に、フェイス板の背面のトウ側とヒール側とにそれぞれ
フェイス板の打球面に対し直角な方向に延びる棒状体が
あるので、アドレス時にフェイス板の打球面を容易に目
標に正確に合わせることができるようになる。
〔実施例〕 以下、図面を参照して本発明の詳細な説明する。
第１図及び第２図は本発明の第１実施例を示すものであ
る。これらの図を参照すると、パターは薄肉のフェイス
板１１を備えている。このフェイス板１１はトウ及びヒ
ール間にわたって細長く延びている。フェイス板１１の
背面におけるトウ側及びヒール側にはフェイス板１１の
打球面に対して直角に延びる丸断面の２つの棒状体１２
．１３の端部がそれぞれ固着されている。棒状体１２゜
１３間には棒状体１２．１３よりも短かい棒状のシャフ
ト取付部１４が配設されている。シャフト取付部１４の
上部には棒状のホーゼル１５が固着され、ホーゼル１５
の上端にはシャフト１６が接続されている。
フェイス板１１の上面には打球面に平行に延びる方向指
示線１１ａが設けられており、２つの棒状体１２．１３
の上面には打球面に対し直角方向に延びる方向指示線１
２ａ、１３ａがそれぞれ設けられている。また、ここで
はシャフト取付部１４の上面にも打球面に対し直角方向
に延びる方向指示線１４ａが設けられている。この指示
線１４ａの延長線上にフェイス板１１の打球面の中心即
ちスィートスポットの中心がある。
この実施例では、シャフト取付部１４が２つの棒状体１
２．１３に連結されており、フェイス板１１とシャフト
取付部１４との間には隙間が形成されている。棒状体１
２，１３及びシャフト取付部１４は同時一体成形によっ
て作ることが製造工数を低減する上で好ましい。棒状体
１２．１３及びシャフト取付部１４はＡｊ！、Ｂｓ、Ｆ
ｅ、プラスチック、セラミック等で作ることができる。
また、フェイス板１１は棒状体１２．１３等と同一の材
料又は透明プラスチック等で作ることができる。
上記構成を有するパターにおいては、フェイス板１１の
トウ側及びヒール側の背面に棒状体１２゜１３が固着さ
れているので、ヘッドの重量がトウ側及びヒール側に配
分され、スィートスポットが拡がる。したがって、ボー
ルがスィートスポットの中心から外れてもボールの転が
り距離が大きく低下せず、ボールの転がり方向のずれも
小さくなる。また、ヘッドの重心周りの慣性モーメント
が大きくなるので、クラブのスイング中にヘッドがシャ
フト取付部１４のシャフト連結箇所の周りに回転しにく
くなり、フェイス板１１の打球面を正しく目標方向に保
たせることができるようになる。
更に、フェイス板１１の背面のトウ側とＬ−ル側とにそ
れぞれフェイス板１１の打球面に対し直角な方向に延び
る棒状体１２．１３があるので、アドレス時にフェイス
板１１の打球面を容易に目標に正確に合わせることがで
きるようになる。特に、棒状体１２．１３上の方向指示
線１２ａ、Ｌ３ａはアドレス時の方向合せに役立つ。
第３図及び第４図は本発明の第２実施例を示すものであ
る。これらの図において第１実施例と同様の構成要素に
は同一の参照符号が付されている。
この第２実施例においては、棒状体１２．１３よりも短
いシャフト取付部１４がフェイス板１１の中央部背面ま
で棒状体１２．１３と平行に延びており、シャフト取付
部１４の端部がフェイス板１１の背面に固着されている
。他の構成は第１実施例と同様であり、シャフト取付部
１４及び棒状体１２．１３は第１実施例と同様の材料で
同様の方法により作ることができる。
この第２実施例の場合、フェイス板１１の中央部にボー
ルを当てたときのボールの転がり距離が第１実施例のヘ
ッドよりも若干伸びる他、第１実施例と同様の作用効果
が得られる。
第５図及び第６図は本発明の第３実施例を示すものであ
る。これらの図において第１実施例と同様の構成要素に
は同一の参照符号が付されている。
この第３実施例においては、第２実施例と同様にシャフ
ト取付部１４がフェイス板１１の背面まで延びてフェイ
ス板１１に固着されているが、シャフト取付部１４は棒
状体１２．１３よりも長くフェイス板１１の後方に延び
ている。しかし、ヘッドのトウ側及びヒール側の重量配
分を増大させるために、シャフト取付部１４には空洞１
４ｂが形成されている。フェイス板１１、棒状体１２゜
１３及びシャフト取付部工４は第１実施例と同様の材料
で同様の方法により作ることができる。なお、同様の目
的のために、空洞部を形成する代わりに、シャフト取付
部１４を棒状体１２．１３よりも比重の小さい材料で形
成するようにしてもよい。
第７図及び第８図は本発明の第４実施例を示すものであ
る。これらの図において第１実施例と同様の構成要素に
は同一の参照符号が付されている。
この第４実施例では、シャフト取付部１４が棒状体１２
．１３から分離されており、且つ、フェイス板１１の中
央部背面に固着されている。フェイス板１１．棒状体１
２．１３及びシャフト取付部１４は第１実施例と同様の
材料で作ることができる。
この第４実施例においては、シャフト取付部１４が棒状
体１２．１３から分離されているので、ヘッドの重量を
最も効率良くトウ側及びヒール側に配分させることがで
きるようになり、また、フェイス板１１のトウ及びヒー
ル間長さを長くして棒状体１２．１３を打球面の中心か
ら遠く離すことができるようになる。したがって、ヘッ
ドの重心周りの慣性モーメントを一層増大させることが
できることとなる。
以上、図示実施例につき説明したが、本発明は上記実施
例の態様のみに限定されるものではない。
例えば棒状体１２．１３は丸断面形状以外の断面形状で
あってもよい。また、シャフト１６及びホーゼル１５は
種々の形状であってもよい。
〔発明の効果〕
以上の説明から明らかなように、本発明によれば、フェ
イス板のトウ側及びヒール側に棒状体が固着されている
ので、ヘッドの重量がトウ側及びヒール側に配分され、
スィートスポットが拡がる。
したがって、ボールがスィートスポットの中心から外れ
てもボールの転がり距離が大きく低下せず、ボールの転
がり方向のずれも小さくなる。また、ヘッドの重心周り
の慣性モーメントが大きくなるので、クラブのスイング
中にヘッドがシャフト取付部のシャフト連結箇所の周り
に回転しにくくなり、フェイス板の打球面を正しく目標
方向に保たせることができるようになる。更に、フェイ
ス板の背面のトウ側とヒール側とにそれぞれフェイス板
の打球面に対し直角な方向に延びる棒状体があるので、
アドレス時にフェイス板の打球面を容易に目標に正確に
合わせることができるようになる。
したがって、ミスパッティングの生じにくいパッティン
グ用ゴルフクラブを堤供できることとなる。

    【特許請求の範囲】
  1. １、薄肉のフェイス板の背面におけるトウ側及びヒール
    側にフェイス板の打球面に対して直角に延びる２つの棒
    状体の端部をそれぞれ固着し、両棒状体間にシャフト取
    付部を配設したことを特徴とするゴルフクラブ。
