Therefore, when using an escalator with the auxiliary trolley of the present invention, which is equipped with the above-mentioned trolley overturn prevention device 30, the stopper 25 for preventing the trolley from falling over is used.
(Strictly speaking, the sliding plate 27) is moved on the escalator in a state in which it is in surface contact with the handrail E of the escalator as shown in FIG. In this case, during normal operation, the slider 23 freely moves vertically along the guide bar 21, and the stopper 25, which has a sliding plate 27 with a low coefficient of friction on the side in contact with the handrail E, moves along the handrail. Slider 23 according to the slope of E.
It rotates freely around the pin 24 of. However,
If the trolley level maintenance device 7 breaks down during escalator transportation as shown in FIG. tries to lean backwards. At this time, since the front wheel 4 of the truck body 1 is rotationally locked by the brake device 13, the guide rod 21 fixed to the truck body 1 rotates around the front wheel 4 in the direction of arrow d in FIG. The attendant moves forward, overcoming the elasticity of the leaf spring 26a, which is an elastic means, and leaning forward toward the attendant C side. As a result, the slider engaging portion 20 (serrated uneven teeth 20a) of the guide rod 21 engages the slider 23.
The sliding plate 27 of the stopper 25 is strongly pressed against the E surface of the handrail of the escalator by the force of the downward movement of the guide rod 21, as shown in FIG. , the guide rod 21
This prevents the cart from falling due to the backward tilting of the cart body 1.
