Therefore, to explain how to use the auxiliary trolley related to the separate application structured as described above, first, attendant C who has been pushing wheelchair B stops wheelchair B near the escalator entrance, and then The wheelchair B loaded with the user is placed on the prepared auxiliary trolley, and the auxiliary trolley carrying the wheelchair is pushed to the escalator entrance (hereinafter, the case of descending entrance will be described). After waiting for it to stop, the cart is positioned on the lower step horizontal part SL of the escalator steps S as shown in the lower left view of FIG. 2, and is stopped. After boarding the cart, the escalator is started and the escalator is stopped when the cart reaches the upper step horizontal portion SH of the escalator, thereby performing manual or automatic escalator operation. In this case, the attendant C lowers the hydraulic cylinder 7 by operating a switch in accordance with the stair formation movement from the lower step horizontal part SL of the escalator, and brings the step contact body 9 at the lower end of the piston rod 7a into contact with the step surface. The trolley body 1 on which wheelchair B is placed is placed on the floor and pushed up by its contact with the floor.
The front wheel 4 is used as a fulcrum to raise the rear wheel side as shown in the middle diagram of FIG. 2, and the rear wheel is moved upward while always maintaining a horizontal state. Then, the escalator step S moves from the staircase part SK to the upper stair step horizontal part SH.
Immediately before the step transitions to and stops, the operation switch 12 is activated again, and the hydraulic cylinder 7 and the step contact body 9 at the lower end of the cylinder piston rod 7a are activated in accordance with the step horizontal formation movement from the step section SK. to operate the rise. In this way, the auxiliary trolley carrying a wheelchair can be raised from the lower floor entrance of the escalator to the upper floor entrance in a state that is always maintained horizontally, and the upper step horizontal part SH of the escalator can be raised as shown in Figure 1. The auxiliary trolley loaded with a wheelchair that has been stopped for transportation can be easily pushed out to the floor side of the upper escalator entrance with the intermediate wheels 13 and front wheels 4 brought into contact with the floor by raising the hydraulic cylinder 7.

The structure and operation of the wheelchair auxiliary trolley related to the above-mentioned separate application are as described above, but this auxiliary trolley has a high level difference between the trolley body 1 and the floor surface on which the trolley runs, so that the wheelchair B cannot be placed on the main body floor plate 2. It is difficult to put it on the body 1 or take it down from the main body 1,
Since the hydraulic power unit 10 and battery 11 are mounted on the side part of the truck body 1,
There are problems with the width of the trolley making it difficult to place it easily on the escalator, and the center of gravity of the trolley carrying Wheelchair B is shifted to the front, making it difficult for the wheelchair to be loaded during an emergency stop on the escalator (especially during an emergency stop when descending). Problems that needed to be improved were raised, such as the risk of the auxiliary trolley rolling down.
