However, it is extremely difficult for wheelchair users to use escalators, and even if they get on the escalator with an attendant, they will not be able to place the wheelchair horizontally on top of the first step of the escalator, and the second step will be difficult to use. Since the user has no choice but to straddle steps and tilt the wheelchair, there is a high possibility that the wheelchair will fall, which is extremely dangerous.

Additionally, escalators with a special structure that carry both wheelchairs and general passengers cannot often be installed due to the structure of station buildings, etc. On the other hand, there are places where escalators exclusively for wheelchairs are installed, but they are not escalators for general users. The disadvantage is that it must be installed separately.

Hereinafter, the structure of the trolley related to this separate application will be explained with reference to the drawings in FIGS. 1 to 3. In the figure, 10 is the main body of the trolley on which the wheelchair B on which the wheelchair user A rides is placed, the floor plate 1 on which the wheelchair B is placed, A side frame 2 consisting of a plate-shaped body placed on both the left and right sides of this floorboard,
Attendant C erected and fixed on this side frame 2
consists of rear side handle rods 5a and front side handle rods 5b (wheelchair stoppers 6 are provided on these handle rods), which can be held and pushed by hand, and which are connected to both front sides of the trolley body 10. On both sides of the rear part, a front wheel 3 and a rear wheel 4 consisting of a freely rotatable caster are pivoted with a distance L between the axes spanning three steps of the escalator steps S as shown in FIG. 7 moves the trolley body 10 on which the wheelchair B is placed to the rear wheel side in accordance with the step forming movement as shown in FIG. It is a device for raising and lowering the rear wheel side and maintaining it in a horizontal state, and this bogie horizontal maintenance device 7 operates a piston in the direction of a step attached vertically to the rear wheel side mounting plate 2a of the bogie main body 10. a hydraulic cylinder 8;
A step contact body 9 is attached to the lower end of the piston rod 8a of this hydraulic cylinder (this step contact member is made of an elastic material such as nitrile rubber with high frictional resistance, and is moved forward by the piston operation of the hydraulic cylinder 8). The wheel 3 descends into contact with the surface of the step S2 next to the step S1 on which the wheel 3 touches the floor, and the trolley body 10 carrying the wheelchair B is placed in a horizontal state as shown in the upper right of FIG. hydraulic power is mounted on the truck body 10 and operates the hydraulic cylinder 8 by the attendant C's switch operation. It consists of a unit 11 (pump, motor, oil tank) and a battery 12 for its operating power source. The operating switch 13 for operating the hydraulic cylinder 8 is provided on the handle portion of the rear handle rod 5a that is held by the attendant C with his or her hand.

Therefore, to explain how to use the auxiliary trolley related to the separate application structured as described above, first, attendant C who has been pushing wheelchair B stops wheelchair B near the escalator entrance, and then The wheelchair B loaded with the user is placed on the prepared auxiliary trolley, and the auxiliary trolley carrying the wheelchair is pushed to the escalator entrance (hereinafter, the case of the lower floor entrance will be described). Then, the trolley is suspended from the horizontal part SL of the lower step of the escalator step S in the position shown in FIG. 3 and stopped. Manual or automatic escalator operation is performed in which the escalator is started after the cart is boarded, and the escalator is stopped when the cart reaches the horizontal part of the upper staircase of the escalator. In this case, the attendant C lowers the hydraulic cylinder 8 by operating a switch in accordance with the stair formation movement from the lower stair step horizontal part SL of the escalator, and then lowers the hydraulic cylinder 8 to move the step floor body 9 at the lower end of the piston rod 8a.
is brought into contact with the surface of the step S2, and by its pushing up action, the trolley body 10 on which the wheelchair B is placed is raised on the rear wheel side using the front wheels 3 as a fulcrum as shown in the upper right corner of Figure 3, and maintained in a horizontal state. Move it upwards while doing so. Immediately before the escalator step S moves from the stair portion SH to the upper stair step horizontal portion and stops, the operation switch 13 is operated again, and the hydraulic cylinder 8 is activated in accordance with the step horizontal formation movement from the stair step portion SH. , and the step floor body 9 at the lower end of the cylinder piston rod 8a is moved upward. In this way, the wheelchair-mounted auxiliary trolley can be raised from the lower escalator entrance to the upper escalator entrance in a horizontal state, and the wheelchair-mounted auxiliary trolley that has been conveyed and stopped at the horizontal part of the ascending step of the escalator can be raised. The truck has 3 front and rear wheels,
4 is in contact with the floor, it can be easily pushed out to the floor side of the upper escalator entrance.

Hereinafter, one embodiment of the present invention will be described with reference to the drawings of FIGS. 4 to 6. This wheelchair auxiliary trolley for escalators allows wheelchair user A to use the escalator accompanied by an attendant C.
A cart main body 10 on which a wheelchair B can be placed and pushed, and a front and rear section that straddles two or more steps (in the case of the embodiment, three steps) of escalator steps S at the front and rear parts of the cart main body. The front and rear wheels 3 and 4, which are pivoted with an axle spacing L, are provided on the trolley body 10, and are arranged in accordance with the step forming movement from the step horizontal part SL of the escalator, or vice versa, the step horizontal forming movement from the step step part SH. A wheelchair assist device having a structure similar to that of the above-mentioned separate application, which is equipped with a hydraulic cylinder type trolley level maintenance device 7 that raises and lowers the rear wheel side of the trolley body 10 on which the wheelchair B is placed and maintains the horizontal state. In the bogie (the structure of the bogie is substantially the same, the same parts are given the same reference numerals and a detailed explanation of the structure and operation will be omitted), first of all, in the first invention, the side frame of the bogie body 10 is 2 is attached with the flange edge 22 facing outward.
It is constructed of a section steel having a shape, groove shape, etc. (the illustrated example is an L shape), and at least one hydraulic cylinder control device is installed in this section steel.
Two control devices 23, such as a terminal block for electrical wiring, are attached, and a removable cover 24 is provided to cover the attached devices from the outside. Also,
In the second invention, the side frame 2 of the bogie main body 10 is made of a section steel (the illustrated example is an L-shaped section steel), the control equipment 23 is mounted inside the section steel, and the attached equipment portion is attached to the outside. A removable cover (lower cover) 24 is provided to cover the side frame 2.
Other control equipment 25a, 25b that is not housed in the side frame 2, such as a relay and a hydraulic circuit directional control valve, are mounted on top of the side frame 2 via a storage auxiliary frame 26, and an outer surface that covers the mounted equipment on the frame. An upper cover 27 is provided which is removable from the top. The lower cover 24 and the upper cover 27 are constructed of integrally molded metal plates or the like when the control equipment 23, 25a is disposed above and below the side frame 2 as shown in the right view of FIG. It is attached to the side frame part so that it can be attached and detached from the outside of the frame frame 2 at the same time. In the figure, 28 is an intermediate wheel of the truck body 10, 29 is a stopper roller provided at the front end of the truck body 10 for stopping the vehicle from boarding the truck, and 30 is a link between the rear handle rod 5a and the front handle rod 5b, which are separated from each other. Shows crossbeams.
