However, it is extremely difficult for wheelchair users to use escalators, and even if they get on the escalator with an attendant, they will not be able to place the wheelchair horizontally on top of the first step of the escalator; Because the user has to straddle steps and tilt the wheelchair to use it, there is a high possibility that the wheelchair will fall, which is extremely dangerous.

Therefore, to explain how to use the auxiliary trolley related to the separate application structured as described above, first, attendant C who has been pushing wheelchair B stops wheelchair B near the escalator entrance, and then Wheelchair B loaded with the user is placed on the auxiliary trolley prepared at Wait for the escalator driver to stop the escalator at the lower level horizontal part of the escalator step S.
SL The cart is positioned as shown in FIG. 3 (the state in which the stopper roller 11 at the end of the cart main body 10 is in contact with the step part) and stopped. After getting on this trolley, start the escalator,
Manual or automatic escalator operation is performed in which the escalator is stopped when the trolley reaches the horizontal step portion of the escalator's upper entrance. At this time, attendant C
The rotation operation lever 8 is pushed down in accordance with the stair formation movement from the SL, and the platform body 10 on which the wheelchair B is mounted is moved with the front wheels 3 as the fulcrum by the push-up action of the step floor push-up lever 9, as shown in FIG. Raise the rear wheels to a horizontal state as shown in the upper right (at this time, the loads of wheelchair user A, wheelchair B, and auxiliary trolley are supported by the front wheels 3 and the step grounding body 9a), and maintain the horizontal state. Move it upward while trying to
and escalator steps S on which the wheelchair B is placed.
Just before it moves from the staircase part SK to the upper staircase horizontal part SH and stops, the rotary lever 8 is moved to the upper staircase horizontal part SH.
In accordance with the horizontal forming movement from SK, push up and rotate as shown in Figure 4. In this way, the auxiliary trolley carrying a wheelchair can be raised from the lower escalator entrance to the upper escalator entrance in a horizontal state, and then transported and stopped at the horizontal step SH of the escalator upper entrance. The auxiliary trolley carrying a wheelchair can be easily pushed out from a state where the front wheels 3 and intermediate wheels 6 are in contact with the floor as shown in FIG. 4 to a state shown in FIG. 5 to the floor of the entrance/exit.

In other words, some general escalators do not have enough horizontal parts of the steps S at the entrances to the upper and lower floors, as shown in Figure 3. If the horizontal part of the steps on the upper floor is only about 1 or 2 steps long as shown in Fig. 4, raise the step contact body 9a of the trolley level maintenance device 7 at the horizontal part SH of the upper stairs and lower the main body of the trolley. When the rear wheels 10 are lowered and the front wheels 3 and intermediate wheels 6 are brought into contact with the two horizontal steps S1 and S2, the trolley body 10 (body floor plate 1 on which the wheelchair B is placed) tilts backwards. Therefore, the wheelchair B is placed in an unstable state where it tends to roll backwards, which is dangerous (the same is true when it is pushed out toward the floor of the entrance/exit as shown in FIG. 5). In addition, when not riding on an escalator (when traveling on a horizontal floor surface), the trolley body 1
Since the floorboard 1 of No. 0 is in a horizontal state, the position of wheelchair B on the trolley body 10 is unstable, and wheelchair B may start to move due to inertia, making wheelchair user A anxious.

In order to achieve the above-mentioned object, the present invention aims to move the intermediate wheel to the horizontal position next to the step on which the front wheel contacts the floor when the step contact body of the trolley level maintenance device is raised at the step horizontal part of the escalator's upper floor boarding/exiting section. In addition to being installed in a position that rests on the step surface, the height distance of the front wheel, intermediate wheel, and rear wheel from the floor plate surface of the bogie body to the wheel contact surface is changed so that the height of the front wheel, intermediate wheel, and rear wheel increases in the order of the front wheel, intermediate wheel, and rear wheel. The front and rear wheels touch the ground on a horizontal floor surface that is not placed on the escalator, and the intermediate wheels are raised so that the floor plate surface of the trolley body on which the wheelchair is placed is tilted upward at the rear. The front wheels and intermediate wheels are in contact with the two horizontal step surfaces on the step surfaces, so that the floor plate surface of the truck body is inclined upward toward the rear.

A trolley body 10 on which a wheelchair B can be placed and pushed, and front and rear wheels 3 pivoted to the front and rear portions of the trolley body with a spacing L between the front and rear axles spanning the three step surfaces of the escalator steps S. , 4, an intermediate wheel 6 pivoted at an intermediate position between the front and rear wheels 3 and 4 of the truck body 10, and a stair-forming movement from the step horizontal portion SL of the escalator provided on the truck body 10, or the like. It is equipped with a trolley level maintenance device 7 that raises and lowers the rear wheel side of the trolley body 10 on which the wheelchair B is placed in accordance with the step horizontal formation movement from the opposite step step part SK and maintains the horizontal state. A wheelchair auxiliary trolley having the same structure as the above-mentioned separate application (the structure and operation of this trolley are substantially the same as those shown in FIGS. 1 to 5, so the same parts are given the same reference numerals and a detailed explanation will be omitted. ), the intermediate wheels 6 are installed on the horizontal part of the steps in the upper escalator boarding area.
Step grounding body 9 of bogie horizontal maintenance device 7 at SH
The front wheels 3, the intermediate wheels 6 and the rear wheels 4 are installed in a position such that when the wheel a is raised, the front wheels 3 ride on the surface of the horizontal step S2 next to the step S1 on which the front wheels 3 touch the floor.
The height distance h1, h3, h2 from the floor plate 1 of the bogie main body to the wheel contact surface is set so that the height distances h1, h3, h2 become higher in the order of front wheel 3, intermediate wheel 6, and rear wheel 4, that is, h1<h.
3<h2, and h3-h1>a (step S
1, S2 height difference), h2 - h1 > b (floor height from the entrance/exit step surface), and the front and rear wheels 3 and 4 are As shown in Fig. 6, the intermediate wheel 6 is grounded and

As described above, in the wheelchair auxiliary trolley for an escalator according to the present invention, when the intermediate wheel of the trolley main body is brought into contact with the front wheel when the step contact body of the trolley level maintenance device is raised at the step horizontal part of the upper escalator boarding section. Attach it to the position where it rests on the horizontal step surface next to the step to be floored, and measure the height distance of the front wheel, intermediate wheel, and rear wheel from the floor plate surface of the trolley body to the wheel contact surface in the order of front wheel, intermediate wheel, and rear wheel. Since the height of the cart is gradually increased, the front and rear wheels touch the ground on the horizontal floor surface that is not placed on the escalator, and the intermediate wheels are lifted up, causing the floor plate surface of the trolley body on which the wheelchair is placed to tilt upward toward the rear. When placed on the upper level horizontal step surface, the front wheels and intermediate wheels touch the two-step horizontal step surface, and the floor plate surface of the main body of the trolley is tilted backwards, making it safe for wheelchair users. The user can use the trolley with a sense of self-confidence, and the attendant can also run the wheelchair-equipped trolley in a stable state.

[Scope of Claims] 1. A trolley body on which a wheelchair can be placed and pushed, which allows a wheelchair user to use an escalator accompanied by an attendant, and escalator steps on the front and rear parts of the trolley body. front and rear wheels that are pivoted at a spacing between the front and rear axles spanning at least three step surfaces, an intermediate wheel that is pivoted at a position between the front and rear wheels of the bogie body, and a horizontal step of the escalator that is provided on the bogie body. An escalator equipped with a trolley level maintenance device that raises and lowers a rear wheel side of a trolley body on which a wheelchair is mounted in accordance with the step formation movement from the step section or vice versa. In the wheelchair auxiliary trolley for use, the intermediate wheel is placed on the horizontal step surface next to the step on which the front wheel contacts the floor when the step contact body of the trolley level maintenance device is raised at the step horizontal part of the upper escalator boarding/exiting section. At the same time, the height distance of the front wheel, intermediate wheel, and rear wheel from the floor plate surface of the bogie main body to the wheel installation surface is changed so that the height of the front wheel, intermediate wheel, and rear wheel increases in the order of escalator. The front and rear wheels touch the ground on a horizontal floor surface that cannot be placed on the escalator, and the intermediate wheels lift up, causing the floorboard surface of the trolley body on which the wheelchair is placed to tilt upward. A wheelchair auxiliary trolley for an escalator, characterized in that the intermediate wheels are in contact with the two-step horizontal stair surface so that the floor plate surface of the trolley body is inclined upward toward the rear. 2 The front wheel, intermediate wheel, and rear wheel mentioned above have the same diameter, and the installation height distance of the axle from the floor plate surface of the truck body to the truck body is the same as that of the front wheel, intermediate wheel, and rear wheel.
The wheelchair auxiliary trolley for an escalator according to claim 1, characterized in that the height of the rear wheels increases in sequence.
