Description

【考案の詳細な説明】 本考案は多目的に使用できる鋸の改良に関する
ものである。
次に本考案の構成を実施例として示す図面に従
つて説明する。
刀身１の下縁に沿つて刀身刃部５が設けられて
いる。背金３は刀身のむね２を覆うように装着さ
れている。背金３の基部は柄８の内部に押入さ
れ、背金の前部はネジ６によつて刀身にネジ着さ
れることにより背金は固定される。リブ７は、背
金３を刀身１の前端からむね２に沿つて摺動させ
るために使用される。リブの形状は第３図および
第４図に示したものが好ましい。勿論、第２図の
ようにリブがなくても差支えない。背金の材料と
しては金属のほかセラミツク、超硬合金あるいは
硬質プラスチツク等が用途に応じて使用される。
前述した実施例においては背金３は刀身に対して
着脱自在である。ネジを用いることなく、接着剤
によつて背金を刀身に固定しても差支えない。こ
の場合には背金は永久固定となる。
本考案は以上の如き構成であつて、背金に種々
の材料を用いることによつて多種多様の物を切断
することができる。例えば金属を切断するときに
は超硬合金の背金を使用すればよいのである。ま
た、背金３は刀身のむね２を覆うように装着され
ているから、背金３の厚みは刀身１の厚みよりも
厚くなる。その結果、背金の刃部４を用いて切断
するときに刀身の表面と被切断物との間にほとん
ど摩擦を生じないから、切断作業が極めて円滑に
行われる。

図面は本考案の実施例を示すものであつて第１
図はその正面図、第２図乃至第４図は第１図にお
けるＡ−Ａ断面図、第５図は刀身のむねの拡大図
である。

    【実用新案登録請求の範囲】
  1. 刀身１の一方の縁部に刀身刃部５が設けられて
    いる片刃の鋸において、刀身のむね２を覆うよう
    に背金３が装着されており、該背金には前記刀身
    刃部と反対向きの刃部４が設けられていることを
    特徴とする鋸。
