【考案の詳細な説明】 (産業上の利用分野) 本考案はエンジンのシリンダブロツクの構造に
関し、とくに軽合金製のシリンダブロツクにおけ
るメインジヤーナル部潤滑用のオイル通路形成部
分の改良に関するものである。

(従来技術) 最近、エンジンのシリンダブロツクを軽量化す

実開昭53−41508号公報に見られるように、シリ
ンダブロツク本体には軽合金を用い、軸受部材に
は剛性が高くてクランク軸とほぼ同じ熱膨張率を
有する鋳鉄を用い、該軸受部材をシリンダブロツ
ク本体に鋳ぐるんだ構造が知られている。ところ
で、従来のこの種構造においては、メインジヤー
ナル部潤滑用のオイル通路が、単に上記軸受部材
とシリンダブロツク本体との対応箇所に連通形成
されていた。このため、軸受部材とシリンダブロ
ツク本体との境界部分で両者の熱膨張率の差やひ
ずみにより隙間が生じ、この隙間に上記オイル通
路からオイルが洩れ、これによつてオイル圧力が
低下し、潤滑不良を起こすという問題があつた。

軽合金部に、メインジヤーナル部潤滑用のオイル
通路が、その周囲に軽合金部を残して穿設されて
なるものである。

プ7とともに、クランク軸8に対する軸受を構成
するものである。この軸受部材6は、軽合金より
剛性が高く、かつ、クランク軸8とほぼ同じ熱膨
張率を有する素材たとえば鋳鉄により形成され、
シリンダブロツク本体1におけるメインジヤーナ
ル部上部の上記クランク軸支持部5に、一体に鋳
ぐるまれている。
