Description

【発明の詳細な説明】 〔産業上の利用分野〕 本発明は力、ハエ等の虫、ハト、イヌ、ネコ等の動物を
駆除するとともに悪臭の消去に卓効をしめず動物忌避・
消臭剤に関するものである。
〔従来の技術〕
従来、力、ハエ等の虫を駆除するには主として硫化炭素
等の燻蒸剤、ピレトリン、デリス剤、ニコチン剤、塩素
剤（ＤＤＴ、Ｂ）ｉｃ、アルドリン等）の接触剤等が用
いられている。
〔発明が解決しようとする問題点〕
しかしこれら駆除剤はすべて有毒あるいは刺激臭を有す
るもので取扱かいには注意を要する。
〔問題点を解決するための手段〕
本発明は上記従来の問題点を解決するための手段として
、動物忌避・消臭剤としてリモネンを用いるものである
。リモネンは下記の構造式を有す上記リモネンを動物忌
避剤としてもちいるにはそのまま、あるいは適当な溶剤
に溶解させるか、あるいは水に界面活性剤を使用して乳
化させるか、あるいは適当なゲル化手段で固形化させる
。上記ゲル化手段としては例えば変性ヒマシ浦、架橋ポ
リアクリル酸、変性ポリエチレンオキサイド、シリカ微
粉末等の公知のゲル化剤が用いられるか。
あるいは高濃度のリモネンを水に乳化させれば高粘度の
リモネン乳化物を得る。
〔作用〕
上記リモネンは力、ハエ、ハチ等の昆虫、ハ１−。
スズメ等の鳥類、ヘビ、ヤモリ等のハ虫類等種々の動物
に対して忌避作用を示す。そしてリモネンは低毒かつ悪
臭が全くない。またすぐれた消臭効果を示す。
〔発明の効果〕
したがって本発明においては所定の個所、例えば室内等
にリモネンを曝露するだけでこれら動物が室内等に侵入
しなくなるが１人間にとっては全く害にならずかつ臭い
も気にならない。しかも室内等の臭いを消去する。
実施例１ リモネンｌｏｏｇに５ｇのデアルキルスルホサクシネー
ト（界面活性剤）を添加溶解した後、水１５ｇを添加攪
拌混合すると固形乳化物が得られる。該リモネンの固形
乳化物は所定の蓋付容器に充填され、使用に際しては蓋
を取って放置すると動物忌避効果、消臭効果を発揮する
。
