Claims (1)

  1. 【実用新案登録請求の範囲】 (1) 熱転写型サーマルプリンタに用いられるイ
    ンクドナーシートの搬送制御装置であつて、画信
    号に応じて付勢されるサーマルヘツドと、前記サ
    ーマルヘツドに対向して設けられたプレツシヤー
    ロールと、その途中にマークが形成され、かつ、
    前記サーマルヘツドおよびプレツシヤーロールの
    間に配置されるように巻装されるインクドナーシ
    ートを、前記サーマルヘツドの付勢に応じて巻取
    る巻取りモータと、前記プレツシヤーロールおよ
    びインクドナーシートの間に配置される記録用紙
    を、前記サーマルヘツドの付勢に応じて、前記サ
    ーマルヘツドに対して相対的に移動させる記録用
    紙搬送手段と、前記サーマルヘツドから前記イン
    クドナーシートの搬走路の上流側に設けられ、前
    記マークを検知するためのセンサと、前記センサ
    が前記マークを検知した後、前記マークが前記サ
    ーマルヘツドに達する前に、前記サーマルヘツド
    への付勢を停止し、前記マークが前記サーマルヘ
    ツドを通過するまで、前記巻取りモータを付勢し
    インクドナーシートを巻取る手段と、前記センサ
    が前記マークを検知した後、インクドナーシート
    の残量に応じて、残りの印刷可能枚数、およびイ
    ンクドナーシートの交換が必要であることのいず
    れかを表示する手段とを具備したことを特徴とす
    るインクドナーシートの搬送制御装置。 (2) 前記インクドナーシートに形成されるマー
    クは、前記インクドナーシートの終端から、当該
    熱転写型サーマルプリンタの最大連続印刷枚数の
    印刷に必要な長さだけ離れた位置に形成されたこ
    とを特徴とする前記実用新案登録請求の範囲第１
    項記載のインクドナーシートの搬送制御装置。
