This invention relates to a method for manufacturing artificially decorated veneers. Artificial decorative veneer, which has a bold, abstract, and sharp striped pattern on its surface as shown in Figure 5, has a wide range of uses as a decorative surface material for luxury items such as Buddhist altars and low tables. However, it has been extremely difficult to create such striped patterns on the surface of artificially decorated veneers, and it has been difficult to find a suitable manufacturing method. The usual method is to randomly or alternately combine dyed veneers to express the dark colored parts of the striped pattern and dyed veneers to express the light colored parts, and then combine them into a wooden mold with a corrugated pressing surface. Alternatively, an artificial decorative veneer expressing a striped pattern is obtained by creating a laminated fritsch by press-bonding it with a mold and slicing it at an appropriate angle to the laminated surface.
However, with this method, the flow of the stripes becomes monotonous and regular, and it is difficult to express a sharp striped pattern, making it impossible to express a striped pattern that looks like precious wood as shown in FIG. Therefore, an object of the present invention is to provide a method for producing an artificially decorated veneer having a bold, abstract, and sharp striped pattern on its surface. An outline of this invention is shown in FIGS. 1 to 5.
That is, the method for manufacturing this artificially decorated veneer is
As shown in the figure and Fig. 2, the wood surface is randomly divided into a plurality of dark and light island areas, and the veneers 1 and 1' have a dark and light island pattern. The veneers 2 and veneers 2 are appropriately combined and laminated with adhesive on a pressing mold 3 such as a wooden mold or a metal mold having a corrugated pressing surface as shown in FIG. 4, this assembled fritsch 4 is processed into a suitable square lumber as shown in FIG. 4, and then sliced at a slicing angle that intersects the laminated surface to obtain an artificial decorative veneer 5 as shown in FIG. It is. The dark and light island pattern veneers 1 and 1', in which the material surface is randomly divided into a plurality of dark and light island areas, are
As shown in the figure, it can be obtained by randomly pasting divided pieces 1b and 1c of a dark-dyed veneer or a light-dyed veneer on the surface of a dyed veneer 1a that has been dyed in a single dark or light color. can. In this case, it is desirable to arrange the divided pieces 1b, 1c so that the gap between them is as narrow as possible. The method for pasting the divided pieces 1b and 1c is to apply adhesive to the surface of the dyed veneer 1a using a coating means such as a roll coater or a flow coater, and then
A method of pasting each divided piece 1b, 1c on this,
Conversely, there is a method of applying adhesive to each of the divided pieces 1b and 1c and pasting this onto the surface of the dyed veneer 1a. Another method for obtaining a dyed veneer 1' in which the wood surface is divided into a plurality of dark-colored island areas and light-colored island areas is to dye an undyed veneer 1'a or a single light-colored veneer as shown in FIG. The surface of the treated dyed veneer is dyed by applying a dark color dye and a light color dye to a plurality of island areas. For the dyed veneer 1'a, dark colored island regions and light colored island regions can be obtained by applying only a dark colored dye to a plurality of island regions and dyeing them. In this case, an oil-based or water-based dye is usually used as the dye, and a solvent with good dispersibility is selected to form a desired color tone. Commonly used solvents include ethanol, methanol,
MEK, acetone, propylene carbonate, etc. The blended dye dispersed or dissolved in this way is sprayed or using a suitable coating means to express a random or regular island-like pattern on the surface of the dyed veneer. In particular, when coating and dyeing undyed veneers, it is necessary to prevent undyed areas from forming. The molding of the assembled fritch 4 using the pressing die 3 is similar to that of normal fritching when using the shaded island pattern veneer 1' in which the dark and light island areas are divided by coating and dyeing. It can be done under sufficient conditions. At this time, the adhesive may be applied to either the front or back side of the dyed veneer 1', and the appropriate amount of the adhesive is about 90 to 110 g/m 2 . If a polyurethane adhesive is used, complete fritting can be achieved by applying the adhesive at room temperature and under pressure of 10 to 20 kg/cm 2 for 2 to 3 hours. In addition, when adopting a shaded island pattern veneer 1 in which a plurality of divided pieces 1b and 1c are pasted together to divide the dark colored island area and the light colored island area, the laminated frit 4
The surfaces to which adhesive is applied during molding are the divided pieces 1b,
Avoid surfaces that are uneven when bonding 1c together.
It is easier to process by applying it to the back side. The amount of coating in this case is preferably about 100 to 120 g/m 2 , which is slightly larger than in the case of the shaded island pattern veneer 1' shown in FIG. When using the same polyurethane adhesive as in the previous case, the pressing conditions are the same at room temperature, but the pressing pressure is increased to 20°C to absorb surface irregularities.
It is necessary to increase the pressure to about 40Kg/cm 2 , and it is desirable to make the pressing time a little longer, about 3 to 4 hours. In this way, the assembled fritsch 4 is formed using the dark and light island pattern veneers 1 and 1' in which the material surface is divided into a plurality of dark and light island regions, and is sliced in the direction intersecting the laminated surface. Since the artificially decorative veneer 5 is formed, the dark-colored island area and the light-colored island area of the laminated shading island pattern veneer 1 or 1' are formed on the material surface of the artificially decorative veneer 5 as shown in FIG. The cut layer is exposed as a sharp striped pattern, and an artificial decorative veneer 5 having a bold and abstract striped pattern can be obtained. In addition, when adopting the light and shade island pattern veneer 1 in which a plurality of divided pieces 1b and 1c are pasted together to form a dark colored island area and a light colored island area, each divided piece 1b,
By varying the thickness of 1c, the width of the striped pattern to be expressed varies, and the artificial decorative veneer 5 can have an even higher design effect. Example 1 A 1.0 mm thick Aius veneer was dyed under the following conditions. (1) Dye formulation for dark island area Organic compound dye or coordinating dye - A289 (Suminol Milling Brown 3G) (manufactured by Sumitomo Chemical) 0.13% + metal complex dye - PMBlack (Poly Melalized Black 908) ( (manufactured by Sumitomo Chemical Co., Ltd.) 0.86% (2) Dye formulation in the light colored island area A289 0.72% + PMBlack 0.05% (3) Dyeing conditions Bath ratio = Total weight of water / Total weight of veneer = 50 Temperature: 98±1℃ Time : 5 hours The dark color part composition is (A), the light color part composition is (B),
The dyed veneer in the dark area is (A)-a, and the dyed veneer in the light area is (A)-a.
In the following explanation as (B)-b, using (A)-a and (B)-b obtained in this way, (A)-a or (B)-b is appropriately added to (A)-a. Apply adhesive at 110g/m 2 to (A)-a and paste the divided pieces cut into (A)-a.After this, place release paper on top of the pasted veneer, then place a 5mm rubber cushion and press (10Kg/m2). cm 2 ) and kept under pressure for 30 minutes to obtain a shaded island pattern veneer having a surface to which the divided pieces were attached. Example 2 As in Example 1, IUS veneers with different thicknesses of 1.2 mm, 1.5 mm, 1.7 mm, and 2.0 mm were selected as veneers for making artificial decorative veneers, especially as veneers for pasting, and the same dyes were used. The dyeing time was changed to 6 hours according to the formulation, and dyeing was carried out under the same conditions. Different thicknesses obtained in this way (A)-a, (B)
-b, with different thicknesses (A)- on 1 mm (A)-a
A or (B)-b was suitably cut out, and the same adhesive was applied onto (A)-a at 110 g/m 2 to stick it. After this, a release paper was placed on the pasted veneer, and a 10mm rubber cushion was placed on top of it, pressed (15Kg/cm 2 ) and held for 30 minutes to form a shading pattern monolith with a divided piece pasting surface. Got the board. Example 3 Different thicknesses obtained in Example 1 or Example 2
(B)-b The blended dye (A) dissolved and dispersed in ethanol was appropriately sprayed onto the veneer to create an island-like pattern on the veneer. Then put it in a warm air dryer at 80℃ for 5 minutes.
The veneer was dried for a minute to evaporate the ethanol and was dyed into a veneer with a shaded island pattern. Example 4 The blended dye (A) or (B) dissolved and dispersed in ethanol was appropriately sprayed onto a 1 mm undyed Aius veneer to create an island-like pattern with mixed shading. The veneer was treated so that there was no undyed area between the light and dark shades, and the ethanol was volatilized in the same manner as in Example 3 to obtain a light and light island pattern veneer by dyeing. The shaded island pattern veneer obtained in each of the above examples,
, , (A)- obtained in Example 1 and Example 2
A or (B)-b was suitably combined and pressed using a corrugated die. For the shaded island pattern veneer, adhesive was applied to the back side of the veneer (coating amount: 120 g/m 2 ).
Adhesive was applied to the front or back surfaces of the veneers with a light and light island pattern, (A)-a, and (B)-b (coating amount: 100 g/m 2 ), as in the usual case. Pressing conditions are press pressure 20
Kg/cm 2 and time was 3 hours. The assembled fritsch thus obtained was sliced at a slicing angle of 20 degrees to obtain artificial decorative veneers.Furthermore, these artificial decorative veneers were analyzed and evaluated in detail, and the boldness of the stripe expression and degree of sharpness of the stripes were evaluated. A visual evaluation of the stages was performed. The results are shown in Table-1.

[Table] As described above, the method for producing an artificially decorated veneer of the present invention combines a veneer with a dark and light island pattern, in which the material surface is divided into a plurality of dark and light island areas, with a single dyed veneer, and then adheres the veneer. A frit assembly forming process in which the assembled fritches are obtained by laminating the frits with an adhesive and pressing and bonding them using a pressing die having a corrugated clamping surface, and a slicing process in which the frit assembly is sliced in a direction intersecting the laminated surface. This has the effect that it is possible to obtain an artificial decorative veneer with a high design effect that expresses a bold and sharp striped pattern on the material surface.
