Claims

In a sweep receiver whose local oscillator circuit is configured with a phase-locked loop (PLL) and which can select preset stations using a broadcast station storage means, one button can be used to write and read broadcast station data to the broadcast station storage means. A match between the broadcast station data read from the broadcast station storage means and the broadcast station data set in the programmable frequency divider constituting the PLL is detected by operating the preset button and the preset button. a coincidence detecting means for interrupting the audio path for a predetermined period of time; and a muting means for interrupting the audio path for a predetermined time;
