Abstract

PURPOSE:To reduce the number of parts and the number of mounting processes, and to decrease a cost, by a method wherein a weather strip is held by means of a holder part formed to a welt. CONSTITUTION:A welt 16 is engaged with a flange 7 of a roof side rail 3, and an extension part 17 is formed integrally with the welt 16 along a peripheral wall 15 of an opening. A recess 22 is formed in the end of the extension part 17, and a molding 23 is inserted into the recess 22 for securing. A holder part 25 is formed to the extension part 17 together with a projection line 24 provided on the welt 16. The extension part 17 is securly held to the peripheral wall 15 of the opening by means of a screw 26, and a weather strip 27 is held in the holder part 25. This enables constitution of a portion around a window by means of the very low number of parts, resulting in reduction of the number of parts and the number of mounting processings.

着されており、さらにリテーナ//にはドリップモール
13の端縁部が固持されている。

成形上高コストを要するとともに、必然的に組付工数に
おける不利をも伴い、低コスト化を図シ得るものではな
かった。本発明は、かかる従来の実情に鑑みてなされた
ものであシ、部品点数2組付工数の低減による低コスト
化を図ることが可能な自動車のウインド回り構造を提供
するものである。

る。該軟質#lテには、複数のリツブユOが突設されて
おシ、該リップ20には植毛、2/が施されている。又
前記延設部ン7の端部には適宜形状の凹部nが形成され
ておシ、該凹部nにはアイオノマー等で成形されたモー
ルディング力が挿入固定されている。さらに延設部17
には、ウェル)/4に形成された突条ユφとともにホル
ダー部コが形成されている。かかる延設部17は、ビス
易によって前記開口周壁/3に固持されるとともに、前
記ホルダー部jにはウェザ−ストリップ27が抱持され
ている。

回りを構成することができ、よって部品点数及び組付工
数・の削減による低コスト化が可能となる。加えて前記
実施例においては前記リツプコQと植毛2/とによって
延設部/7と開口周壁15間のシール性も確保する仁と
ができ、この間のシール材が不要となるとともに、延設
部/フの端部にモールディング力装着したことから、外
観品質の向上をも図れるものである。
