Description

【発明の詳細な説明】 産業上の利用分野 本発明は部品組立装置に関し、特に熱可塑性のピンの端
部を加熱変形して2以上の部品を互いに結合する装置に
係るものである。
従来の技術 合成樹脂等の熱可塑性のピンを用いて部品の組立て結合
を行なう場合、ピンの端部を加熱変形するために一般に
は超音波機やヒーターを利用した機械等で行っている。
この方法では装置そのものが高価になるだけでなく、そ
の作業技術が複雑になり、機械の設置場所が限定された
り、特殊な工具を必要としたり、作業に熟練を要する等
の問題があった。
発明°が解決しようとする問題点 そこで本発明はかかる従来の問題点を回転による摩擦熱
をピンに与えて解消しようとするもので、安価で、特殊
工具や専用機等を要せず、簡単な作業でピンを加熱変形
できる部品組立装置を提供することを目的とする。
問題点を解決するための手段 即ち、本発明は、熱可塑性ピンの端部を加熱変形して2
以上の部品を互いに結合するために、ピンの加熱変形端
部に当接して回転による摩擦熱を与える凹面部を形成し
た回転体を設けた構成を特徴とする。
作用 従って本発明の構成によれば、2以上の部品を互いに熱
可塑性ピンで結合するために、凹面部を形成した回転体
を用いるので、回転体に回転を与える機械はエアー、液
体または電気を利用した原動機を設けることにより得る
ことができ、既存の機械を利用する場合でもハンドドリ
ルやボール盤等のチャック部に上記回転体を固定するこ
とにより簡便な部品組立装置が得られる。回転体を回転
させながらその凹面をピンの加熱変形端部に当接するこ
とによりピンと凹面との間に回転摩擦熱が発生しピンの
端部が変形可能となり回転体が端部を押圧すれば、樹脂
ピンの端部は回転体の凹面形状に形成され、2以上の部
品がいわゆるかしめにより組立て結合されることになる
実施例 以下に本発明の一実施例を添付図面に基いて説明する。
第2図はボール盤のチャック部1に回転体2を固定した
部品組立装置を示している。ボール盤のテーブル3上に
は組立て結合すべき二つの部品4゜5が置かれており、
下方の合成樹脂製第1部品5の中央上面に結合用ピン6
を突出形成し、上方の第2部品4の中央には貫通孔7が
形成されている。
このピン6と孔7との寸法差は各部品の材質や形状によ
っても異なるが、通常は位置決め部は他の部分にあるの
でピン6が孔7を自由に通ることができる程度のもので
よい。また、ピン径や高さは要求される結合強度により
変るが、あまりかしめ部を突出させることのできないも
のはピンを太めにする。回転体2の大きさや凹面部8の
形状は、第3図に示すピンの変形後のかしめ形状9によ
って決まるが、凹面部8の凹み寸法はかしめ形状9の高
さより浅くされる。更にまた、回転体2の回転数は第1
部品のピン6にもよるが、特に高速でなければボール盤
の押し下げレバー10の押圧力で調整できる。
尚、部品4.5はテーブル3上で図示しないが位置決め
部材でコーナ一部を係止されている。
発明の効果 以上の説明したように、本発明の構成によれば、回転に
よる摩擦熱を与える凹面部を形成した回転体を設けるこ
とにより部品組立装置を提供できるので、特別複雑な工
具や機械を必要とせず、またその操作等も簡単で熟練を
要するものでもなく、簡単な回転を与える原動機や既存
の機械を利用できる。また従来の超音波機やヒーターを
利用したものと比較しても設備費が安価で過熱等による
焼損や火災等の心配、失敗がない簡易な部品組立装置を
提供できる。

図面は本発明の一実施例を示すもので、第1図は部品組
立装置の要部部分断面図、第2図は装置全体の斜視図、
そして第3図はピンが変形された状態を示す要部断面図
である。 2・・・回転体、 4.5・・・部品、 6・・・ピン、 8・・・凹面部。

    【特許請求の範囲】
  1. 熱可塑性のピンの端部を加熱変形して2以上の部品を互
    いに結合する部品組立装置に於いて、前記ピンの加熱変
    形端部に当接して回転による摩擦熱を与える凹面部を形
    成した回転体を備えたことを特徴とする部品組立装置。
