Claims (1)

    【実用新案登録請求の範囲】
  1. 内部にポンプ室を有するポンプハウジングと、このポン
    プハウジング内に配設されたベアリングにて回転可能に
    支持された回転軸と、この回転軸の一端側の前記ポンプ
    室内に取付けられたベーンと、前記回転軸の他端側の前
    記ポンプハウジング外部に取付けられたプーりと、前記
    ベーン、前記回転軸及び前記ベアリングの三者で取り囲
    まれた空間内に配置されたメカニカルシールとを備え、
    前記ポンプハウジングには、前記メカニカルシールとベ
    アリングとの間に存在する水分を前記ボン・プハウジン
    グの外部に排水するための排水孔が形成されているウオ
    ータポンプにおいて、前記ポンプハウジングの外周部位
    に、前記排水孔の開口部を被う排水孔用被覆部材を固着
    し、該排水孔用被覆部材の外周に、前記プーりの近傍位
    置まで延設した被覆部を形成したことを特徴とするウォ
    ーターポンプ。
