Claims (1)
- 内部にポンプ室を有するポンプハウジングと、
このポンプハウジングに設けた軸受部に回動可能
に支承された駆動軸と、この駆動軸の前記ポンプ
室側端部に取付けられたインペラと、このインペ
ラと前記ポンプハウジングとの間を液密的に封止
すべく、前記駆動軸上に装着されたメカニカルシ
ールとを備えたウオーターポンプにおいて、前記
軸受部と前記駆動軸との間の前記メカニカルシー
ル側に、軸方向に所定間隔を置いて少なくとも２
個のシール部材を介装し、これら相隣り合うシー
ル部材により形成された空間部内にグリースを充
填するとともに、前記ポンプハウジング及び前記
軸受部に、前記ポンプハウジングの外部と前記空
間部とを連通する排水孔を形成したことを特徴と
するウオーターポンプ。
