  1. 【実用新案登録請求の範囲】 (1) デイーゼルエンジンの排気ガス流路内に配
    設された、該排気ガス内のパテイキユレートる捕
    集するフイルタ部材と、該フイルタ部材の排気ガ
    ス流入方向端部に近接して配設された、前記パテ
    イキユレートを着火燃焼させるヒータ部材を備え
    たデイーゼルパテイキユレート排気処理装置にお
    いて、 前記フイルタ部材の排気ガス流入側の捕集率が
    、流出側の捕集率より高くされていることを特徴
    とするデイーゼルパテイキユレート排気処理装置
    。 (2) 前記フイルタ部材が、排気ガスの流れる方
    向に沿つて上流側に高捕集率のフイルタ、下流側
    に低捕集率のフイルタを配設して構成されたもの
    である実用新案登録請求の範囲第１項記載のデイ
    ーゼルパテイキユレート排気処理装置。 (3) 前記高補集率のフイルタが、パテイキユレ
    ートの燃焼を促進する触媒を含むものである実用

    のフイルタの厚さより薄くされたものである実用
