Description

【発明の詳細な説明】 〔産業上の利用分野〕 本発明はシリアルプリンタに関する。
〔従来の技術〕
従来、この種のシリアルプリンタでは、印字ヘッドの印
字面が固定されて１つのプラテンの方向を向いていた。
〔発明が解決しようとする問題点〕
上述した従来のシリアルプリンタは１つのプラテンと、
スペーシングガイドシャフト上を該プラテン側（印字用
紙面）に向いて横移動する印字ヘッドとを有していたの
で、１方向にしか印字用紙をセットすることができない
という欠点がある。
〔問題点を解決するための手段〕
本発明のシリアルプリンタは、スペーシングガイドシャ
フト上で回転可動な印字ヘッドと、前記スペーシングガ
イドシャフトに平行に設けられた少なくとも２つのプラ
テンとを備えている。
（ｌＪ！施例〕 次に、本発明について図面を参照して説明する。
第１図、第２図はそれぞれ本発明のシリアルプリンタの
一実施例に詔いて印字ヘッドが一方、他方のプラテンの
側に回転した状態を示す平面図である。
同図において、シリアルプリンタは回転式印字ヘッドｌ
と、２つのプラテン２．３と、スペーシングガイドシャ
フト４とを備えてなシ、プラテン２．３は回転式印字ヘ
ッド１の両側にスペーシングガイドシャフト４と平行に
設けられている。
第１図に示すように、回転式印字ヘッド１の印字面をプ
ラテン２の側に向けてスペーシングガイドシャフト４上
を横移動させるか、第２図に示すように、回転式印字ヘ
ッド１を回転させて印字面をプラテン３の側に向けてス
ペーシングガイドシャフト４上を横移動させるかによっ
て、印字用紙を交換することなしにプラテン２．３上の
２糧類の印字用紙８使い分けることができる。
なお、本実施例は回転式印字ヘッド１をスペーシングガ
イドシャフト４に対して水平方向に回転し、プラテン２
．３が２個の場合を示しているが、回転式印字ヘッドの
回転方向およびプラテンの本数が他の場合であっても本
発明を適用できることは明らかである。
〔発明の効果〕
以上説明したように本発明は、スペーシングガイドシャ
フト上で自由に回転する印字ヘッドと、スペーシングガ
イドシャフトに平行に設けられた少なくとも２つのプラ
テンとを備えることによって、印字用紙を交換すること
なしにいくつかの印字用紙を使い分けることができる効
′果がある。

一実施例において印字ヘッドが一方、１１ｇ方のプラテ

    【特許請求の範囲】
  1. スペーシングガイドシャフト上で回転可動な印字ヘッド
    と、前記スペーミングガイドシャフトに平行に設けられ
    た少なくとも２つのプラテンとを備えることを特徴とす
    るシリアルプリンタ。
