Description

【発明の詳細な説明】 （技術分野） 本発明は螢光ランプに関する。
（背景技術） 従来の螢光ランプの一例を第１図に示す。図中、１はガ
ラスバルブで、バルブ１の内面には螢光体２が塗布され
ており、気密空間３には所定量の水銀蒸気及び希ガスが
封入されている。４はエミッタを塗布したフィラメント
、５はリード線、６は口金である。
かかる螢光ランプの螢光体塗布工程では、一般にガラス
バルブ内面に螢光体スラリーを吹き付けた後、垂直に保
持したまま乾燥を行なうが、このとき、螢光体スラリー
の流下によって、第２図に示すように、螢光体２の膜厚
は図面において上方で薄く下方で厚い膜厚差を生じ、こ
の膜厚差がランプ点灯時、ラジプ両端での輝度むらの原
因となる。
（発明の目的） 本発明は上記欠点に嫌みなされたもので、その１１７と
するところは、ランプバルブ全長に亘り螢光体膜を均一
化することにより、点灯時において輝度むらのない螢光
ランプを提供するにある。
（発明の開示） 第３図は本発明に係る螢光ランプの製造工程の要部を示
す斜視図で、その工程は、先ず同図（−１に示すように
、螢光体膜７を厚さの均一なシート状に成形し、しかる
後、同図（ｂｌに示すように螢光体膜７を、所要のラン
プのガラスバルブ１の内径に合わせてロール状に加工し
、かかる螢光体膜を同図（Ｃ）に示すようにガラスバル
ブ１に挿入し、ガラスバルブ１の内面に密着させて成る
ものである。
而して、螢光体膜は第４図に示すように、螢光体８を酸
化ケイ素などの透明薄膜９、ｌＯでサンドイッチ状にし
、三層構造とする方法、あるいは螢光体をポリエチレン
オキサイドなどのバインダーで固めてシートを形成する
方法等により成形する（発明の効果） 本発明は上記のように、予めシート状に成形した螢光体
膜をガラスバルブの円面に挿着する構成であるため、螢
光体の膜厚をランプバルブ全長に亘り均一化することが
容易にできる。従って、点灯時に輝度むらのない良質の
螢光ランプが得られる。
