Abstract

PURPOSE:To manufacture a gas-turbine catalytic combustion apparatus having high performance by combining a catalyst having excellent ignitionability at a low temperature and a catalyst having superior durability at a high temperature. CONSTITUTION:A catalyst, which consists of CaO, Al2O3 and NiO and SiO2 therein is brought to 0.5% or less, is formed in honeycomb structure, and the precious metal, such as Pt, Pd, etc. is carried, thus obtaining a catalyst having high activity and excellent stability at a high temperature (1,000-1,200 deg.C). The catalyst has high material stability at the high temperature when the precious metal is not added, but activity is not sufficient. However, the catalyst is used because high activity is improved considerably by adding a small amount of Pt. With the catalytic combustion apparatus for a gas turbine, its durability is improved largely while holding low-temperature ignitionability, and the generation of NOx, etc. is also reduced.

一番優れているのは、ハニカム構造体上にγ−アルミナ

ものであることが明らかとなった。これらの触媒は耐熱
性が低いため、従来Oeなどの希土類の酸化物を添加し
耐熱性を向上していた。我々はこれらの触媒の改良を重
ねた結果、800〜1000℃で用いるならばOeなど
の酸化物の添加は耐久性に問題があることがわかった。

火性及び耐久性も優れていることが明らかとなった。

でPtが1%担持されているものである。実験1は触媒
Aを10crn充填した燃焼器を用いて、実験2は触媒
Bを10儒充填した燃焼器を用いて、実験3は前段に触
媒Aを5α、後段に触媒Cを5crn充填した燃焼器を
用いて、実験4は前段に触媒Bを5−1後段に触媒Cを
5ぼ充填した本発明の場合の燃焼器を用いて行なった。
