Description

【発明の詳細な説明】 本発明は、光ファイバケ用いたIH報通信システムにお
いて分配ケーブルと引込ケーブルとの分岐点に使用され
る元コネクタ等の光分岐端末に関するものである。
近年、光ファイバr用い7ζ情報通信システムの進展が
めざましく、各種の曲毎分野に利用されておジ、光ファ
イバ?用い7ζCATV(ケーブルテレビ)等の加入者
サービスもその一つとして実用化の域に入っている。、
しかしながら、従来、光ファイバの分配ケーブルから加
入者への引込ケーブルの接続工事は全て融着接続によっ
て行なわれているため、加入者への引込工事に多大な工
数ケ要するとともに、光ケーブルに断線やその他の事故
が生じた場合の処置に多くの時間がかかる等の同順があ
り、光フアイバケーブル分岐点における接続工法の改善
が望まれている。
本発明は、かかる事情に鑑みて従系されたもので、光フ
ァイバを用い罠情報皿イ3システムにおいて、光ケーブ
ルの分岐点に光コイフタ葡用いて加入者への分配ケーブ
ルと引込ケーブルとの接続が簡単に行なえるようにし九
九分岐端末ヶ提供せんとするものである。1 以下、本発明に係る光分岐端末を図面にボし7c笑施例
に基づいて詳細に説明する。
第1図は本発明に係る光分岐端末の外観斜視図、第2図
はその断面図、第3図は本発明に詠る光分岐端末の設置
状態ケ示す説明図であって、1は光分岐端末、2は入力
側分配用ケーブル、3は出力側分配用ケーブル、41〜
4nは加入者引込線接続用コネクタであるが、光分岐端
末1は、第2図に示す工うに、筐体1aの両端部に入力
側分配用ケーブル2お工び出力側分配用ケーブル3が取
付けられ、各分配用ケーブル2と3の間には光ケーブル
5.〜5nが配設されている。ま7こ、光ケーブル51
〜5nのうち、加入者引込線接続用コネクタ41〜4n
には、所冗の光ケーブル5nより分岐ケーブル61〜6
oが接続されている。
したがって、各加入者へ引込ケーブル71〜7nr接続
するには、第3図に示すように、光分岐端末1から加入
者8への端末までの長さに和尚するコネクタ付引込ケー
ブル71〜7nk用意し、引込ケーブル71〜7oのコ
ネクタ91〜9nk差し込むだけで加入$8への引込作
業が可能になる。
以上、図面に示し7(実施例にもとすいて詳細に説明し
た↓うに、本発明に係る光分岐端末に工れば、光ファイ
バ葡用いた情報通信システムにおいて、分配用ケーブル
の入口と出口を有し、多数の加入者引込ケーブル接続用
コネクタを持つ光分岐端末ケ設置し1こので、加入者へ
の引込作業上極めて容易に行なうことができる。
また、加入者への引込ケーブルの端部には光分岐端末へ
差し込まれるコネクタr取付けであるので、加入者への
布設工事が容易である。

第1図は本発明に係る光分岐端末の外観斜視図、第2図
は第1図の断曲図、第3図は本発明に係る光分岐端末の
設置状態tボす説明図である。 図面中、 1は光分岐端末、 2は入力側分配ケーブル、 3は出力側分配ケーブル、 41〜4nは加入者引込線接続用コネクタ、51〜5n

    LI人者引込線接続用コネクタに加入者引込ケーブルの
    端部に取付け7こコネクタが差し込まれる工うに構成し
