Description

【考案の詳細な説明】 本考案はラインプリンタ等の活字ベルトの走行位置調整
装置に関するものである。
活字ベルトを用いた印字装置の一例を第１図を参照して
説明する。
活字ベルト１は駆動プーリ２及び従動プーリ３によって
印字ラインに沿って水平方向に搬送される。
また駆動プーリ２及び従動プーリ３の外周面は太鼓状に
なっており、活字ベル１〜１の走行位置の安定を図って
いる。
又、活字ベルト１の走行位置に沿って、複数個の印字ハ
ンマ４が並設されており、該活字ハンマ４が印字用紙５
とインクリボン６を介して、活字ベルト１上の活字を打
撃して印字を行う。
かかる印字装置において、印字ラインに対し活字ベルト
１の走行位置か′、直角方向にずれると印字ハンマ４と
活字ベルト１上の活字がずれ、文字の上側あるいは下側
が欠けてしまう。
そこで活字ベルト走行位置調整機構が必須となる。
この活字ベルト１の走行位置の調整機構は、一般的に従
動プーリ３の回転軸を、手動あるいは自動的に傾けるか
上下させることによって行っている。
従来手動で活字ベルト１の走行位置調整を行う場合調整
位置が正しいか否かを判定するために、活字ベルト１に
近接して設置しであるプリズム７を通して行っていた。
具体的には、活字ベルト１に近接しているプリズムの一
面（以下対物面という）に目印となる照準８を設け、活
字ベルト１の一方のエッヂをその照準８に合うように調
整していた。
ところが、プリズム７を通して活字ベルト１のエッチを
見る場合（実際には、プリズム７の対物面と直角をなす
面（以下接眼面という）に映される像を見る。
見る位置によって、第２図に示す如く視差が生じ、活字
ベルト１のエッヂが照準８に合せて調整したにもかかわ
らず、正しい位置にセットされず印字された文字が欠け
るという現象が起きてしまう。
本考案の目的は、上記した従来技術の欠点を無くし、常
に活字ベルトの走行位置を正しく調整できるようにする
ことである。
本考案は、プリズムにおいて、対物面に照準を設けるだ
けでなく、接眼面にも同様に照準を設ける。
このプリズムにおいて、両方の照準が重って見える位置
が唯一リしかないことに着目し、活字ベルト走行位置調
整時は、必ず一定位置からプリズムを見ることができる
ようにしたものである。
本考案の一実施例を図面を用いて説明する。
第３図は本考案になるプリズム７の斜視図である。
プリズム７の対物面には、従来通り照準８を正しい走行
位置にある時の活字ベルト１のエッヂと同じ高さの位置
に、しかもプリズムの両端部２ケ所に設ける。
また接眼面には、照準８と対応する位置にかつまた、照
準８を狭むように２本の平行な視差除去用照準９を設け
る。
実際に使用する際は、まずプリズム７の接眼面を見て、
照準８が２本の照準９に狭まれる位置に視線を合わせる
。
次に活字ベルト１のエッヂが２本の照準９の間にくるよ
うに活字ベルト１の走行位置を調整する。
活字ベルｌ−１のエッヂと照準８及び照準９の３者が一
つに重なる位置は、唯１ケ所しかない。
本考案によれば、視差による活字ベルトの走行位置の誤
調整を防止できるので、常に正しい走行位置で活字ベル
トを走行させることが可能であり、印字文字の上下欠け
を防止できる。
【図面の簡単な説明】
第１図は活字ベルト搬送機構部及び活字走行位置調整用
プリズムを示す斜視図、第２図は従来のプリズムを示す
側面図、第３図は本考案になるプノズムの斜視図である
。 図において、１は活字ベルト、２は駆動プーリ、３は従
動プーリ、４は印字ハンマ、５は印字用紙、６はインク
リボン、７はプリズム、８及び９は照準である。

Claims (1)

  1. 【実用新案登録請求の範囲】 印字ラインに沿って並べて設けられた複数個の印字ハン
    マと、少なくとも両側に設けられた２個のプーリにより
    印字ラインに沿って走行され、印字ラインと直角方向の
    走行位置が調整し得るように前記プーリに取り付けられ
    た活字ベルトと、その対物面が活字ベルトの走行方向と
    平行になるように取り付けられ、該対物面に前記活字ベ
    ルトの走行位置調整用照準を設けたプリズムとを備え、
    前記活字ベルトの印字ラインと直角方向の走行位置を調
    整するようにした活字ベルト走行位置調整装置であって
    、 前記プリズムの対物面と直角をなす接眼面上に視差除去
    用照準となる２本の細線を所定間隔離して設けてなる活
    字ベルト走行位置調整装置。
