Description

【発明の詳細な説明】 通常窓ガラス又は鏡は温度湿度の急激な変化により突然
に曇りを生じ見えなくなる現象を生じるのが普通である
。これを防止する方法としてガラスの裏側又は中間に弱
い電熱線を入れ温度をあたためて曇りを防止するか、又
はプラスチックフィルムに防曇処理をほどこしその離面
に透明な接着剤をぬりそれを張り合わせて効果を得る方
法が用いられて来たのが一般的である。
これに対し本発明は板ガラス又は鏡に対し予め洗剤等で
表面の脱脂処理を行った後特殊変性処理したポリビニル
アルコールを１〜１０％の範囲に稀尺し完全に溶解せし
め更に蒸発し易い様にＣ１〜Ｃ３迄の低級アルコール１
０〜３０％を混合し完全溶解後硬化剤を少量ブレンドし
た液を表面にコーティングし面が平滑になる迄自然乾燥
しその後に１００℃〜１６０℃の熱風にて乾燥を行いコ
ーティングした塗膜を熱架橋せしめ固化させてガラス又
は鏡の面に透明な薄い膜を歪を全く無く処理して防曇処
理効果を得る方法である。
この様にして出来上ったガラス又は鏡はその表面に水酸
基を有する薄い塗膜がある為水との親和性が極めて強く
防曇効果が著しい。又熱風乾燥により表面の樹脂面が焼
付硬化されているのでその効果は長時間持続出来る特長
を有する。
この応用として当面考えられるものとして寒冷地向けの
複層ナッシのガラスの内側にこの処理を行う事により従
来しばしば問題になっている内部の曇りを防止する事が
出来るのみならず内部を真空にする事もなく施工上も大
きなメリットを生ずる。
更にこの液をスプレー化する事により車両用窓に吹きつ
け車内の曇り防止にも役立つ事が出来るので、現在使わ
れている界面活性剤を主体とする曇り防止剤とは根本的
に違うものである。

    【特許請求の範囲】
  1. 本発明はガラス又は鏡に直接水酸基（ＯＨ気）を含む樹
    脂をコーティングし透明に焼付固化せしめ、それらが温
    度湿度の変化により曇りを生じ見えなくなることを防止
    し常に通常の如く使用出来る事を特長とする防曇処理方
    法である。
