Abstract

PURPOSE:To improve the sealing performance by forming a drip channel part beneath the joint part of the rear edge of a sun roof with the rear edge of the open part of a roof, in a sealing member having two seal lips which make close contact with the lower faces of the roof and the lid, respectively. は、該リッド3の閉時にルーフ開口部2の周縁に密接す
るウェザ−ストリップ4を装着しであるが、このウェザ
−ストリップ4とルーフ開口部2周縁との密接部分は、
雨水や洗亘水の直撃を受けるため、車室内側への水侵入
を完全番こ阻止することはできない。そこで、ルーフ開
口部2の両側縁および前縁とウェザ−ストリップ4との
密接部を浸透して車室内側に侵入する水は、第2図に示
すようにルーフ1下側に配したサンルーフフレーム5に
形成したドリップチャンネル部6で受けてドレーンパイ
プ7全介して車外に排水し、また、ルーフ開口部1後縁
とウェザ−ストリップ4との密接部を浸透して車室内側
に侵入する水ζこ対しては、例えば実公昭58−168
94号に示す如きリヤドレーン構造の採用により前記サ
ンルーフフレーム5両側のドリップチャンネル部6に排
水ガイドして同様にドレーンパイプ7を介して車外に排
水するようにしている。

ールリツプ22とを一体に備え、リッド3閉時に前記継
目部分の下方でこれら第1.第2シールリツプ21 、
22との間にドリップチャンネル部23ヲ構成するシー
ル部材20を固着しである。このシール部材20は前記
段部10上に接層固定もしくはビス止め固芝されるが、
好ましくは図示するようlこ第1シールリツプ21側の
端末に断面略U字状の挟層都24ヲ形成し、この挟着部
24ヲプレート9端末に離層してプレート9端末側から
のシール部材20の剥離を阻止するとよい。また、図示
するようにシール部材加の一般部がウェザ−ストリップ
4の下縁と密接するように配置することにより、該ウェ
ザ−ストリップ4と第2シールリツプ22とで2重シー
ル構這が得られるので、後述するようにより一層シール
効果を高められる。第3シールリツプ35等を形成すれ
ばその効果はより確実となる。
