。When transplanting seedlings with soil, there is little root damage or damage to the plants, and attachment is good, and mechanical transplantation is possible by handling the root part (hereinafter referred to as the root ball part) of the seedling in a way that will not damage the seedling instead of handling the plant itself. This has advantages such as making it possible to save labor.

The inventors have discovered a soil for raising seedlings that can produce seedlings with sufficient root ball strength, and have thus arrived at the present invention.

It may also contain mineral powder or the like that is effective in improving fertilizer retention. The soil used in the present invention may be in powder or granular form, but granulated soil is preferable since it is easy to obtain the caking effect of the present invention even if the amount of adhesive substance added is small. More preferably, the particle size is 0.5~
It is preferable that the grain be granulated to a grain size of 8.0.

.. If the weight is less than 0.5%, the soil will not have sufficient cohesive strength, and if it exceeds 5% by weight, the cost will increase, and the soil will stick and become difficult to work with when filling seedling containers, and the growth of some crops may be affected. This is not preferable because it may suppress the effect.

You don't have to think about such troubles. Alternatively, there is no need to make a clay bed and pack it in. The packed soil has large pores and good ventilation and water permeability, so growth is smooth and unrestricted.

。For example, for paddy rice, even when seedlings are grown in a conventional flat-shaped seedling box and transplanted using a normal paddy rice transplanter, the so-called ma-soto strength is improved, and even in the case of thinly sown mature seedling transplants, the roots do not fall apart. There are Meri Soto methods that can prevent transplanting problems such as the soil becoming loose or the seedlings not maintaining their proper posture and position.
