Description

【発明の詳細な説明】 本発明は固相接合法に係り、特に被接合部材を電磁力に
よって加圧、振動する接合方法に関する。
従来のろう接、拡散接合、TLP接合等の面相接合にお
いて、刀口圧方法は被接合部材の自重であったり、油圧
及び空圧プレスでめったすした。しかし装置は複雑で大
型であり、被接合部材の接合面に均一な微少な圧力を訓
えることが非常にむずかしい。このため接合部には、ボ
イド状欠陥や接合不良など発生しやすく、また接合部に
偏析が多く、かつ変形しやすい等のような欠点があった
本発明の目的は、従来孜術の欠点をなくシ、被接合部材
に応じて加圧条件を設定し、ボイド状欠陥、接合不良お
よび偏析などをなくシ、良好な接合部ヲ得ることのでき
る接合法を提供することにある。
本発明は、被接合部材の周囲に励磁コイル設け、磁界を
発生させることによって発生する電磁力で加圧、振動し
ながら所定の接合温度に加熱、保持して接合する方法で
ある。
本発明の接合方法において、例えば第1図に示すように
、励磁コイル1に直流電流を流すと磁界が発生して加圧
ヘッド2に電磁力が作用して加圧する。その那圧力は接
合部材3,4に作用して均−に圧力を〃口えることがで
きる。さらに微小な加圧力は励磁電流を調整することで
可能である。
上記した接合方法において、電磁力によるガロ圧後、励
磁コイル1にパルス電流を流すことによってパルス磁界
が発生し、加圧ヘッド2は振動加圧を行ない、接合部材
3,4に振動圧力が加わる。
この振動圧力により、接合部材の接合面のなじみが良く
なってボイド状欠陥や接合不良などの欠陥を防止できる
。さらに接合後、上記した振動圧力を〃口えることによ
り、接合層の拡散が進行し、接合面に生じゃすい偏析等
を少なくすることができる。
上記のよりな〃a圧方式において、第2図に示すように
被接合部材の両方の周囲に励磁コイルを設け、被接合部
材を両側から圧力を加える方法や第3図に示すよ−うに
被接合部材の一方に励磁コイルを複数個設け、励磁コイ
ルの一方に直流電流を流してガロ圧し、他の電磁コイル
に直流パルス電流を流して振動加圧する方法ができる。
要は加圧方法は適宜選定できる。
本発明の接合法として、従来から用いられている〃0圧
方法で振動加圧を行なっても同様の効果が期待できる。
以下、実施例によって本発明の詳細な説明する。
第1図に示す本発明の装置で被接合部材3,4としてN
i基合金In738 (試験片形状10mx10wX1
0’)を用い、第1表に示す接合条件で接合を行なった

してJI8BNi−2を使用した。
上記のようにして得られた本発明の接合方法による接合
部は、接合不良やボイド欠陥もなく、ろう材の拡散が進
行し偏析も少なく、良好であった。
また比較のため行なった通常の接合で行なった接合部で
は、接合欠陥がなく接合されているが、ろう材が拡散で
きずに多少存在して偏析している状態である。以上のよ
うに本発明の振動加圧を行なう接合法によって、接合後
のろう材の拡散が従来の接合法に比べ進行し、均一な接
合部を得ることができる。また従来の接合法に比べ接合
温度は低く、接合時間も少なくできる。
本発明によれば、一般に用いられている油圧式プレス装
置のように複雑で大型化にもならず簡便で、励磁電流の
調整で微小な圧力を容易にコントロールでき、接合部材
に均一な圧力を加えることができるので性能の向上及び
経済性の効果がめる。
さらに励磁コイルにパルス電流を流し、振動加圧を行な
うことによってボイド状欠陥や接合不良を防止上、接合
後の偏析を少なくシ、なおかつ接合面の歪効果により接
合温度を低くできるので接合部の品質が著しく向上する

  1. 【特許請求の範囲】 1、ろう接、拡散接合、TLP接合などの外部加熱によ
    って接合する方法において、被接合部材に互いに衝突す
    る方向に振動を〃口えながら接合することを特徴とする
    電磁加圧式接合方法。 ′2.前記振動は被接合部材の周囲に励磁コイルを1個
    又は複数個設け、この励磁コイルに電流を流し、電磁力
    により刀口圧しながら接合することを特徴とする特許請
    求の範囲第1項記載の電磁〃0圧式3、前記励磁コイル
    に直流のベース電流を流し、さらに直流パルス電流を流
    して電磁振動を与えながら接合することを特徴とする特
    許請求の範囲第2項記載の電磁加圧式接合方法。
