Description

【発明の詳細な説明】 本発明は、光導体内を伝搬されてくる光を光源として使
用する照明スタンドに関し、特に、光導体内を伝搬され
てくる光を効果的に拡散させてスタンド照明に適した光
を得るようにしたものである。
近時、省エネルギ一時代を迎え、太陽光エネルギーの効
果的利用について各方面で活発に研究開発が行われてい
る。
太陽光エネルギーを利用する場合、太陽光エネルギーを
電気エネルギー、熱エネルギー等に変換することなく、
そのまへ光エネルギーとして室内照明等に利用すれば、
変換ロスがな（、最も効率がよいことは明らかであり、
従来、屋外で収集した太陽光エネルギーを光導体を通し
て照明を必要とする箇所例えば室内等に導いている。
しかし、光導体の端面から光を放出させた場合、光の広
がり角度は約４５°でスポット光源に近いものとなって
しまい、広い範囲をやわらかく照明するには必ずしも満
足のいくものではなかった。
本発明は、上述のごとき実情に鑑みてなされたもので、
光導体を通して伝搬されてきた光でスタンド照明するに
際し、光導体から放出される光を効果的に拡散して比較
的広い範囲をやわらかい光で照明し得るようにしたもの
である。
第１図及び第２図は、それぞれ本発明による照明スタン
ドの実施例を示す図で、図中、１はスタンドの支柱、２
は該支柱１の中空部を通して配設された光導体、３は光
導体２の光放出端２から放出される光が直接目に入らな
いようにするためのフード、４はスタンドの笠、５は笠
４の中央部に配設された散光又は反射体で、該散光又は
反射体５は光導体２の光放出端２に対向して配設されて
いる。
第１図に示した実施例において、笠４の４ａ部を光反射
体、４ｂ部を半透明体で形成すると、光導体２の光放出
端２′から放出される光は図中に点線にて示すように散
光又は反射体５で反射、拡散され、スタンドの下部を比
較的明るく照明し、同時に、半透明体部４ｂを通過した
光によって部屋全体がやわらかく照明される。
なお、４ａ部は半透明体で形成してもよ（、或いは、第
２図に示すように中空にしてもよいことは容易に理解で
きよう。
第３図は、本発明の他の実施例を説明するための構成図
で、図中、第１図及び第２図と同様の作用をする部分に
は同一の参照番号が付しである。
この実施例においては、笠４は蛇腹等の可撓体６を介し
て支柱１に取り付けられており、従って、笠４及び散光
又は反射体５を任意所望の方向へ向けることができ、照
明位置を自由に変えることができる。
以上の説明から明らかなように、本発明によると、光導
体を通して伝搬されてくる光、例えば、屋外において収
集された太陽光エネルギーを用いてスタンド照明するこ
とができ、その際、光導体の光放出端から放出される光
輝度の光が直接目に入らないようにするとともに該光を
効果的に拡散させるようにしたので、スタンド照明本体
の部分的照明は勿論、部屋全体をやわらかい光で照明す
ることができ、従来の電気スタンドとほとんど変らない
照明を期待することができる。

Claims (1)

  1. 【特許請求の範囲】 １ 支柱の中空部を通して配設された光導体と、前記支
    柱に取り付けられた半透明の笠と、該笠の中央部に設け
    られた散光又は反射体と、前記光導体の光放出端と前記
    散光又は反射体との間に設けられたフードとを有し、前
    記光導体の光放出端と前記散光又は反射体とが対向して
    配設されていることを特徴とする照明スタンド。 ２ 前記笠を前記支柱に可撓部材を介して取り付けたこ
    とを特徴とする特許請求の範囲第１項に記載の照明スタ
    ンド。
