Abstract

PURPOSE:To provide an air purifying equipment capable of drawing an oily hume developed by a source in a cooking utensil and the like positively into an air purifying section for efficiently removing the oily hume, by proving to it an air curtain. The air curtain functions to guide an oily hume moving upwardly from the oily hume developing unit 6 into a center of air purifying equipment 1. The oily hume, after being drawn by a fan motor 2 and separated by a dust collecting section 3, has its clean air exhausted upwardly from a partial air exhaust outlet 9 and another part thereof guided into an air curtain developing section 5 through a communicating tube 4 for forming the air curtain.
