Claims (4)

    【実用新案登録請求の範囲】
  1. （１）　　光ファイバを耐圧パイプに封入した光フアイ
    バ海底ケーブルを接続箱により相互に接続する光フアイ
    バ海底ケーブルの接続において、１本又は複数本の光フ
    ァイバおよび該光ファイバを保護するため該光ファイバ
    の外周に設置されかつ前記光ファイバを固定された金属
    又はプラスチックの被覆層又は耐圧層が上記接続箱への
    導入のための導入部において、該接続箱本体に対して、
    ケーブル軸方向に移動可能であるように構成され、かつ
    前記導入部における前記被覆層が前記接続箱本体の端面
    にルーズコンタクト状態で挿入されていることを特徴と
    する光フアイバ海底ケーブルの接続機構。
  2. （２）前記接続箱が前記ケーブルの軸方向に対して伸縮
    可能なるように構成されていることを特徴とする実用新
    案登録請求の範囲第１項記鐵の光フアイバ海底ケーブル
    の接続機構。
  3. （３）　　前記接続箱が左右に二分割されて中央部で摺
    動伸縮可能な状態で結合されるように構成されているこ
    とを特徴とする実用新案登録請求の範囲第２項記載の光
    フアイバ海底ケーブルの接続機構。
  4. （４）前記接続箱の中間部分にベローズが設けられてい
    ることを特徴とする実用新案登録請求の範囲第２項記載
    の光フアイバ海底ケーブルの接続機構。
