Abstract
PURPOSE:To move a machining tool with almost equal speed in relation to an ellipse track by a simplified mechanisms in which the driving shaft and driven shaft of a profiling device are connected with each other through an universal joint and the angular velocity of the driven shaft is always, changed. CONSTITUTION:A driven shaft 2 and a driving shaft 3 are connected with each other through an universal joint 4. A supporter 7 is slidably fixed to the lower part of the driven shaft 2 through a block 21, and a driven roller 61 is provided above the supporter 7 and touched by an ellipse cam 5. Also, a tool, e.g., an adhesive coating nozzle unit 6, etc., which conincides with the axis of a roller 61 is attached to the lower part of the supporter 7. The unit 6 is operated by a signal from an angle detector 41 for discharging or stopping an adhesive. By this mechanism, the angle of the driving shaft 3 and the driven shaft 2 is regulated to the ellipse shape of an object to be processed.
