Abstract

PURPOSE:To tune FM band to a broadcast station broadcasting traffic information for a district which a driver needs to listen to, even during the reception of a band other than the FM band. CONSTITUTION:Before switching to an MW band from an FM band broadcasting traffic information, a variable resistor of a reception and storage circuit 6 is adjusted, and after a voltage at a PLL control section 1 and a voltage of the circuit 6 are made equal, switching is made to the MW band. Then, switches 5a-5d are changed over to the opposite side as shown in Figure and the MW band is received, but a turning control voltage is applied from the circuit 6 to an FM band reception circuit 2 to keep a tuning state. When the traffic information is received, a relay 8 is excited with an output of an SK, DK signal detecting circuit 7 and a contact 10 is switched to the FM side, allowing to listen to the traffic information automatically from a speaker.
