Abstract
PURPOSE:To enable a fast response with a quick pressure propagation while improving the efficiency of ink pressurization by providing a pressure generating vibration plate composing a pressure chamber and a piezoelectric element bonded thereon in such a manner as to project toward the injection nozzle side. CONSTITUTION:A pressure generating vibration plate 11 is convex in the sectional shape to an ink pressure generation chamber 12. This allows the ink pressure generation chamber 12 to be reduced in the capacity accordingly thereby improving the pressurization efficiency of ink, while enabling an injection nozzle 3 and a first nozzle 2 to be brought closer to the pressure generating vibration plate 11. Therefore, ink flowing into the ink pressure generation chamber 12 from the first nozzle 12 is pressurized quickly while flow out to the injection nozzle 3 from the first nozzle 2. This can shorten the cycle of inflow, pressurization and outflow of the ink thereby enabling the formation of ink liquid drops at a high speed.
