Abstract

PURPOSE:To provide and ink jet head having a high repetitive frequency and an injection pressure by opening and closing the ink passage connecting between the pressurized ink feed pump and the second fluid chamber and a valve needle. CONSTITUTION:The first liquid chamber 7 communicating with the ink injection nozzle 3 is communicating with the second liquid chamber 9 by means of a pipe 8. The first liquid chamber 7 and the second liquid chamber 9 are isolated with a laminated vibration plate joined solidly an electrostrictive vibrator 1 and the second vibrator 10. The valve needle 10a defined in the second vibration plate 10 is disposed at the location to open and close the ink passage where the second liquid chamber 9 and the exit of the pressurized pump 13 are connected. On opening the valve elememt 10a, the ink is allowed to inject from the nozzle by applying the pump 13 pressure and the vibration pressure of the laminated vibration plate to the first liquid chamber 7. On closing conditions, the pressure application is shut to close the ink injection.
