Abstract

PURPOSE:To enable mass production of fluid injection nozzles by forming a pressure propagation passage and a fluid supply passage as one flow passage at one side surface of a base plate, forming orifices in fine groove form on one side surface of a metallic piece, and connecting the base plate to the metallic piece, thereby simplifying the steps. CONSTITUTION:A plurality of flow passage grooves 4 having pressure propagation passages 2 and fluid supply passages 3 are formed by mechanical process or photolithography and etching on one side surface of a base plate 1, and fluid supply holes 5 are opened through the base plate 1 at the rear ends of the passages 3. The plate 1 and a metallic foil 6 are so superposed as to face at the groove forming surfaces, are so positioned that the ends of the grooves 4 and fine grooves 7 coincide accurately with each other, and are bonded with an adhesive, thereby constructing a plurality of nozzles.
