Abstract

PURPOSE: To improve fuel consumption capacity and also to prevent the generation of after burning by forcibly converting the air fuel ratio of mixed air into lean state irrespective of the output of an air fuel ratio sensor during speed reduction.
CONSTITUTION: If speed is reduced, a throttle valve opening switch 32 and a rotary speed detection switch 34 are opened, thus detecting the transfer of speed reduction. When a specified time lag t passes with a lagging circuit 38, a switch 40 is changed over and a comparison circuit 24 is connected to a lean signal generation circuit 30. Then, the comparison circuit 24 receives a signal that forcibly converts the air fuel ratio of mixed air into lean state by full opening or full closing a control solenoid valve 12.
