Abstract

PURPOSE: To give full play to the engine performance and improve feeling of vehicle driving, by increasing fuel injection, with a detecting circuit, when an air-fuel ratio sensor is inactive due to high internal impedance.
CONSTITUTION: An incremental circuit 20 discriminates whether an air-fuel ratio sensor 10 is inactive due to its internal impedance and puts out a signal to increase fuel injection if the sensor is detected inactive. An air-fuel ratio control circuit 30 receives the signal from the sensor 10 to discriminate whether the ratio is below a preset level and controls the ratio to the preset level. A fuel control circuit 40 is synchronized to the engine revolution and puts out electric pulse signals with a pulse width in accordance with the engine suction for controlling an injection valve 50.
