PURPOSE:To enhance the accuracy of a photocoupling interrupter by providing light refraction and reflection means beween a light emitting element and a photodetector carried on the same substrate of a hybrid integrated circuit, optically coupling them, and passing a light shield in a gap formed on the way of the means. CONSTITUTION:Light refraction and reflection means 21, 22, 27, 28 are provided and optically coupled between a light emitting element 17 and a photodetector 18 carried directly on the same substrate 14 of a hybrid integrated circuit. A light shield 31 is passed in the gap 32 formed in the way of the means. For example, the means may be preferably formed of the first lens 21 and first prism 27 faced with the element 17, and second convex lens 22 and second prism 28 faced with the element 18. Thus, the production process is simplified, and the accuracy can be enhanced.
